"Mad Doctor" tells a story of a female surgeon who has lost her motivation to exercise surgery for patients.

She decides to work in a small hospital in the countryside, running away from her dark past. She experiences all kinds of unbelievable incidents, from patients injured by a crush of a pig to a bite of a penguin. Killer whales and crocodiles are also in the list of wrongdoers.

However, in this small hospital, where medical staff are as helpless as those in the big urban hospitals, the female surgeon restores her passion of being a medical practitioner. With her special skills and perseverance, she changes the medical conditions of the village, and regains the strength and passion she used to have on life and medical practices.

A daughter from a loving family learns that she has two dads when she meets her birth father in the most unexpected way and realizes that the father she knows and respects is actually her stepfather.

When she graduated from university, Wang Xiao Mi has already fallen in love with the talk shows industry in China. She manages to impress investor Ke Lei during an open mic session and gets hired for a job. Wang Xiao Mi invites her parents to watch her performance. However, her mom Luo Qing catches a glimpse of Ke Lei who turns out to be her ex-husband that she hasn't seen in twenty years.

Night, a senior literature student, was still unable to complete his final novel project because he didn't understand the concept of love. He had the chance to meet Dream, the owner of Tokyo Boy, and his close friend in high school whom he had lost contact with for years, and he never found out why Dream left his life. Then, Dream and Night rekindled their friendship. Night didn't even try to ask Dream about his whereabouts. He simply requested Dream to never again abandon him without explanation. After that, Dream assisted Night in finding the meaning of love for his work. He helped Night realize what love is, and that it's what Night had known all along, but he didn't accept it: Dream is his love. Cowardice kept Night from stepping forward, making him build up an iron wall and deny his feelings. Still, no matter how hard he tried, his feelings for Dream grew stronger by the day. Strong and obvious to the point where he couldn't suppress them any longer, but it seemed he was too late... because Dream was about to leave his life again.

In ancient times, humans mixed with deities and demons, the world consisted of Shennong, Xuanyuan, and Gaoxin. Wandering in Dahuang, Jiu Yao from Gaoxin lost her identity and appearance. She settled in Qingshui Town and was renamed Wen Xiao Liu.

The Prince Qiang Xuan of Xuanyuan was Xiao Liu’s cousin. To find Xiao Liu, he travelled around Dahuang and came to Qingshui Town. In Qingshui Town, Xiao Liu saves Tushan Jing from danger and falls in love with him. Xiang Liu and Xiaoliu appreciated each other and became confidants. After a few twists and turns, Qiang Xuan and Xiao Liu eventually recognized each other.

After recovering her identity, Xiao Liu helped Qiang Xuan bring the whole world under his rule and retired from the rivers and lakes. The thoughtless man puts all his energy into governing the country because he knows that as long as the world is at peace, his little boy will be able to be happy and healthy.

Gong Deul Im (Kim Da Som) is a tenacious, outgoing, and optimistic aspiring musical actress with undying passion to pursue her dreams despite against her parents' wishes. She will have romantic relationship with lawyer Park Hyun Woo (Baek Sung Hyun) who also dreams as musical actor but gave up his dream because of his parents. Meanwhile, Han Tae Kyung (Kim Hyung Joon) is the leader of a drama troupe and musical director. He will be working closer with Deul Im and is best friends with Hyun Woo and Deul Im's older sister, Gong Soo Im (Hwang Sun Hee). He will develop feelings for Soo Im.

Gu Jing is a good chef who owns a creative and retro restaurant. He opens his restaurant anytime he wants. Gu finds that there is a boy who always gets the quietest seat, and that boy is Liu Li. Liu is a gay-themed novelist who rents a room upstairs from Gu’s restaurant. Gu starts to send Liu a bowl of spicy beef noodles. Gu has become the person that Liu confides in, the person who keeps him company during the breakup. Gradually, Liu realizes that his fantasies may be different from reality.

41-year-old Tamai Shizuru lives with her mother and grandmother in a mountain village in Gifu Prefecture, where she works at a hospital as a receptionist. One day, she goes to the bookstore to buy reading materials for the waiting room. She recalls a picture book which she read many years ago, but she can't recall its title. Luckily, her grandmother knows the title which is "Tsuki ni Inoru Pierrot." Shizuru wants to read the picture book again and ends up ordering the book through an auction site on the internet. While Shizuru reads the picture book, a small piece of paper falls out of the picture book. The piece of paper seems to be a recipe, and Shizuru decides to contact the seller about whether it is okay to discard it. From then on, Shizuru and the seller begin to exchange mail. They have never met before, but the picture book, which they both read when they were young, connects them.

The war of jealousy and desire of four friends, one of them became a murderer due to lies of the others 10 years ago and appeared in front of the three successful friends.
