It turns out that Kazumi in her last letter from New York had written that she was in a relationship with someone and that they might soon marry, but since then she has broken up with him, and she didn't want to make her father upset by coming home alone. Rose Martial World (2008)

    Genre:
    Action, Historical
    Country:
    Chinese
Rose Martial World is a Chinese-Hong Kong wuxia-romance television series produced by Yu Zheng and directed by Peter Yuen and Wang Shaojie, starring cast members from mainland China and Hong Kong. It was first broadcast in Taiwan in 2008. Yu Zheng later published a novel of the same title during the series' 2009 broadcast in mainland China. Eileen Chang's The Red Rose and the White Rose meets Tsui Hark's The Blade - this pitch perfectly captures the essence of the all-star Chinese martial arts drama Rose Martial World. A war between two women could bring destructive consequences to the entire martial world, if they are beautiful like Huo Siyan (My Name is Fame) and Sun Feifei. Their intertwined destinies brought them together as sisterly confidants, only to drive them apart when they fall for the same man (in the shape of popular actor/singer Wallace Chung). Supported by famous TV stars Damian Lau, Sheren Tang, and Sammuel Chan, it is only natural that Rose Martial World is deemed one of the most anticipated drama series of 2008. There are plenty of love triangles with martial arts intrigue in this series. Assassination plot, love affair, betrayal, and revenge get you going until the end.
