Based on the bestselling manga (graphic novel) by Aya Nakahara, LOVE*COM THE MOVIE (short for Lovely Complex) centers on two high school students. Risa Koizumi is the tallest girl in class, and the last thing she wants is the humiliation of standing next to Atsushi Otani, the shortest guy. Fumie (Sawa Suzuki) marries yakuza Tetsuo (Masayuki Imai) and she gives birth to their son Tetsuya. Fumie raises Tetsuya with love, but while she experiences tough times she becomes addicted to drugs. After Fumie receives treatment at a hospital for her addiction, she moves to her parents' house with Tetsuya. At her parents' home, Fumie experiences withdrawals and is hospitalized again. Pil Yong becomes obsessed with his project. A strange mood starts to brew between Pil Yong and Ji Won. Hyo Kyung notices the change in her husband. Also, the project is on the verge of collapsing.
