Do you ever wonder if your lover, son, nephew or competitor is gay? Worry no more, because with the right amount of money, you can hire a team of spies who will find the proof for you and avoid any confrontation. Nangfah knows all too well what it’s like to be tricked by a gay man, after all, she has dated them since grade school and was fooled in every relationship. The last one was the straw that broke the camel’s back; she discovered that her then boyfriend was having an affair with her male boss at a gay bar. After the altercation at the gay bar, Nangfah gets fired and blacklisted at all advertising agencies in the city. Desperate for work, she decides to call on an advertisement on Pantip seeking a spy to unravel potential gay people. Nangfah promptly creates her own company.

Durr-e-Shehwar's (Samina Peerzada) daughter, Shandana (Nadia Jamil), and Durr-e-Shehwar's husband, Mansoor's (Qavi Khan) nephew, Haider (Noman Ejaz) have been married to each other for the last eight years. But recently there has been a breach in their relationship due to which Shandana decides to spend some time at her maternal home in Murree along with her young daughter, Sophia (Sophia Syed).

Both Durr-e-Shehwar and Mansoor love Shandana and Sophia a lot. But Shandana envies her mother thinking that she led a comfortable and happy life with a loving husband and nothing to worry about. And thus, she often compares Haider with her father. Shandana also undergoes a stage of semi-depression and evens thinks of divorcing Haider. When Mansoor gets to know this, he gets angry with Haider. He reports this matter to his sister i.e. Haider's mother, thus, further complicating the matter.

Unable to see Shandana in such a devastated condition, finally one day Durr-e-Shehwar narrates her own life story to Shandana and reveals that life for her wasn't as easy as Shandana thinks it to be. She tells her that when she had got married (Sanam Baloch as Young Dur-e-Shehwar) and moved to Mansoor's (Mikaal Zulfiqar as Young Mansoor) house, Mansoor's mother (Saba Faisal) was cold towards her and did not use to appreciate her for good qualities. Durr-e-Shehwar had to struggle a lot to gain her mother-in-law's acceptance and also the true love of Mansoor, who had earlier neglected her on the words of his mother. Hearing this story, Shandana realizes that her mother's life wasn't a bed of roses and being a housewife did not ensure happiness for Durr-e-Shehwar. This does blemish Shandana's respect for her father but it calms her down and gives her morale to start a new life with Haider.

The family of Zhu Kai Shan came to Baishan Heishui from their hometown in Shandong because of war and famine. They panned for gold, fell wood, collected ginseng, fought with bandits, officials, and feudalism, and escaped death time and time again; finally, they had their own pastoral fields, but the local tycoons regarded them as "foreigners" and made things difficult for them. After several battles, the Zhu family taught the more advanced farming techniques in Shandong to the local people, and the local people also formed life and death brothers with them; in order to develop, Zhu Kai Shan led the whole family to the city again, but he didn't want to be attacked by "Jehe".

Moment in Peking is a 2005 Chinese television series produced by CCTV. It is adapted from the novel Moment in Peking by Lin Yutang, who was nominated for a Nobel Prize in 1940 and 1950.

In 1920's Shanghai, a gifted yet flippant detective solved a series of cold cases despite the city being controlled by criminal organizations. Officer Natasha was then responsible for their training. During the following military actions Pang's patriotism and bravery deeply moved Natasha, and they fell in love together. After the founding of New China Pang decided to serve the country as a mechanic worker, and Natasha became a soviet mechanic specialist after college. When they were preparing for the wedding, Natasha was ordered to return to the USSR. The departure was very dramatic. Later, Natasha wrote to Pang that she had settled down on the border, trying to be as close as possible, waiting for him to come one day.
