The story follows young and promising man Tang Yi Xiu who embarks on a journey to become a policeman and meets our heroine Shi Gu Jing, a woman who hailed from a family of officers but was in an accident overseas which puts her in a coma. She eventually wakes up without any recollection of the accident. She meets the hero, both joining the police force, fighting injustice while trying to uncoverthe secrets behind her accident.

As Jennifer, Se Mi overcomes her weak past self that suffered from the unjust deaths in her family, betrayal of her fiancée, and sexual assault. Finally, she begins her revenge against all who crossed her.

Tamamori is a writer, and Miyata, an editor. Together they are working on a picture book, which is nearing completion. They visit a romantic seaside villa, where their days are filled with love, in order to finish it. But alas - twisted fate deems this happiness to be curtailed. Their love story explores themes of jealousy, marriage, and bereavement.
