Hokai Tenma has a special power... he can communicate with ghosts. It is a power that has been passed down through many generations in his family. However, his cowardly nature means that each time he sees a ghost, he would scream and drop into a dead faint. Unfortunately for Tenma, his family runs a ghost-busting business, a company that is popularly knows as 「Obake」 which he is managing since the death of his father. He has 2 staff under him; Okasaki Akira, a new joinee who had joined the company thinking that it is a software gaming company, and Daikoku Keizo, who was Tenma's father, Tendo's right hand-man. Each time they have a commission, Tenma is on tenterhooks, anticipating the appearances of the ghosts. Yet, each time he does see them, rather than forcefully capturing them, Tenma tends to gently persuade them to leave behind all their regrets left in this world, and free themselves to cross-over to the other world.

Zi Wei, an illegitimate child of Qianlong Emperor makes her way to the capital where she meets Xiao Yan Zi. Meanwhile, Zi Wei is falling for Er Kang, a minister and private guard of the king. While in the palace, Xiao Yan Zi has caught the eye of her brother’, Yong Qi, who is the fifth prince and the court artist, Benjamin. Although he’s engaged to Princess Xing Rong, Yong Qi finds himself drawn toward Xiao Yan Zi. The group makes a plan to get Zi Wei acknowledged as the true princess while keeping Xiao Yan Zi’s head safe from the guillotine. Xiao Yan Zi and Zi Wei’s antics in the palace attract attention from everyone, the emperor, the empress, the doting concubines, as well as the stern dowager empress and her confidante, Princess Qing Er.

This drama depicts the two families turning against one another due to feng shui restrictions set by their ancestors. Under the conflicting pressure of materialism and values, can they lay down their personal views and embrace one another?

This drama is loosely based on one of Korea's oldest folk songs. Suh Dong was the illegitimate son of the Paekche emperor and with the help of Princess Sonhwa, the daughter of the emporer of the Silla Kingdom, he went on to become the emporer of Paekche against all odds.

When an old friend asks Liu Laogen for a favor for his son, Liu Lao Gen tries to find a job for him and becomes shocked to learn that the villa is in terrible shape. The plot revolves around three generations of the Shandong family between 1923 and 1976. The narrator tells the story of his family's struggles, first as distillery owners making sorghum wine and then as resistance fighters during the Second Sino-Japanese War; as a drama adaptation there will be a greater emphasis on the female perspective.

Hachiro is a former boxer, now working as a debt collector for a finance company. He is sent to collect money from Kazuma, a former trainee doctor who has fallen on hard times ever since the suicide of his girlfriend. Hachiro pursues Kazuma into a bank, where Kazuma convinces the staff that the debt collector is, in fact, an armed robber. Although he is falsely arrested, Hachiro develops a liking for the roguish renegade and even offers to help him evade other debt collectors.
