A drama about the love, friendship and success of three women who lost the people they love at the same time and place. Kang Ha Ri (Kim Joo Hyun) is a part-time stationary store worker. Min Deul Re (Jang Seo Hee) was a popular actress, but she isn’t so popular these days. Kim Eun Hyang (Oh Yoon Ah) use to be a secretary but now she focuses on raising her daughter. These three women lose their most loved ones around the same time. Even though they are not related, they rely on each other to get through the tough times.

Gong Sun Li (Dilraba Dilmurat) is the grand-daughter and disciple of military commander Gong Sun Yu. Jing Ke (first disciple, played by Liu Chang) and Sun Li are childhood lovers and were forced to escape when Qin troops attacked.

However, Sun Li’s wall-shattering beauty seizes the interest of the Qin Emperor, Ying Zheng (Zhang Bin Bin), and she’s captured and sent to his palace. It’s then that she discovers she’s pregnant with Jing Ke’s child (Tian Ming). Ying Zheng treats him as if he’s his own child.
