In this quirky, meta Korean series shot from the perspective of a computer web cam, a director tries to make informative how-to videos about his creative process–and instead reveals an intimate inside look at his hilariously awkward private life as seen through his texts, video calls, Photobooth snaps, Final Cut projects, and internet search history. Drunk impulse purchases, blackmail, and flaccid nipples abound.

PO CHUNG-LING (Steven Ma) was born in Jinan a family of New Year print. He is very bright, his father, PO POON (Yueh Hua), has therefore always hoped that he could one day carry on the family business. LING, mistakenly thinks that POON is working in collusion with some corrupt officials, refuses to listen to what his father says. His good friend, KO JIT (Chan Kam Hung), is a constable and he hates corrupt officials as much as LING does. Rumor has it that a fox spirit is creating troubles in Jinan. LING is almost killed when he is investigating into the matter with JIT. Fortunately, a mysterious girl named LING WU SIU-TSUI (Fala Chen) comes to his rescue in the nick of time. It turns out later that she is the fox spirit, and that she saves LING so as to return a past favor. As they spend more and more time together, TSUI starts to fall for LING. The PO family has secured a large order of New Year print. To ensure the work can be finished in time they have to hire a large numbers of female workers. LAU SUM-YU (Linda Chung) applies for the job, but her real intention is to look for the man who was unfaithful to her sister, never knowing that she would later be caught in a love triangle with LING and JIT.

A talented policeman, Lieut. Mud has recently joined a special investigation team at the police headquarter. His duty is to investigate the smuggling of a luxury car. He took over a car that once belonged to former detective Lieut. Siam who was branded as a bad policeman and shot to death by a drug dealer. To make matters more complicated, a female journalist working on the car-smuggling case appears on the scene. Moreover, Prosecutor Liu, the ex-girlfriend of Lieut. Siam wants to turn over the closed case of her ex-boyfriend. However, this case has something filthy: all the witnesses of Lieut. Siam who stood in court are gone except for one drug-addicted girl.

Wai Yip-coeng (Chow Yun-fat) returned from the United Kingdom to Hong Kong as a lawyer. Instead of pursuing the law profession like his family wants, he got a job as a radio DJ at a local HK radio station. Lui Hei (Michael Miu), the young and inexperienced young friend of Wai tries to get a job at the station. He soon falls in love with Au Joek-zi (Angie Chiu) who seems to be only paying attention to Wai. He now wants a job more than ever at the station, but many guys were also interested in her. The story revolves around the rather gossipy late-1970s radio station life and work. The story also feature a few sub plots

Like the original series, "SPEC" will revolve around a pair of police detectives as part of a special division solving difficult cases (Mishou). Touma Saya is a woman with an IQ of 201 and an inability to "read the atmosphere" in social situations. Due to a previous case, her left arm is in a sling. Her partner Sebumi Takeru used to be the star performer of the Metropolitan Police. After some incident however, he was transferred to Mishou. Those two track down offenders with special abilities(SPEC) who managed to get away with their crimes.

"Mr & Mrs Shen" who are harmonious on the surface, however each have their own little secret. Married first and then "conflict", falling in love and killing each other.
