Mio is a woman who owns a funeral parlor in a small port town. After losing her husband, her libido suddenly awakens. A typhoon rips through the town. Not only does she provide funeral “services” for the grieving parties but also “attends” to their needs after the funeral.

Yong-soo lives in a small coal-mine village in North Korea with his wife and young son. Although living in extreme poverty, the family is happy just to be with each other. Then one day, Yong-soo's pregnant wife becomes critically ill. Let alone medicine, Yong-soo can't even find food for her in North Korea. So he secretly crosses the borders of China hoping to find the medicine for his wife. After many life threatening moments in China, Yong-soo is forced into South Korea, becoming an unwanted refugee prohibited to return to his family. Meanwhile, his wife passes away leaving their young son alone in desperation. With no one to turn to, his young son sets out to find his father not knowing where or how to find him.

As a result of a traffic accident involving a violation of the centerline, the perpetrator dies, and the victim falls into a coma. After some time, the wife of the perpetrator, Hee Joo, returns. Hee Joo is bewildered at the fact that the victim’s wife Young Nam is also working at the factory where she goes to work. By accident, Hee Joo becomes close with Young Nam’s daughter Eun Young and learns a new fact about the incident. The true nature of this accident, where Hee Joo’s husband was known to have crossed over the centerline, is actually very complicated. Since the social issues of dispatched labor and industrial accidents and personal issues of depression and family trouble are intertwined here, it is more difficult to apprehend. Black Light focuses on the relationship between two women facing great misfortune. As the truth about the incident slowly reveals, the two women in tense conflict seems to realize that the source of the pain did not originate from each other. That will not ease the pain, but it is clear that hating each other will not solve the problem. The impressive last scene shows that this is the destiny of being the companion.

Ha-yeong is dumped by her boyfriend on the 100th day of their relationship, an important milestone for every couple. Hyeong-jun is a wealthy and handsome man who melts women wherever he goes, but is not interested in dating. One day, as the later is driving his luxury car, the two will meet. Disgruntled by her recent rejection, Ha-yeong kicks a soda can out of frustration, which finds its way onto Hyeong-jun\'s head. Startled by the impact, he loses control of his car and scratches it against a wall. When Ha-yeong is unable to pay for the damages, he persuades her to repay him by signing a contract that binds her to his service for 100 days. What happens next is strictly by the (silly) book and inevitably, they both start having feelings for one another.

When an aging activist is arrested, the lives of the accused, the lawyers, and the judge intertwine to reveal bigotry that underscores the judicial system.

Saijo is a university student with a special ability. Whenever he sees a woman in love, he can see bright sparkles around that woman.

Kitashiro is Saijo’s childhood friend. Kitashiro tells Saijo that she has feelings for him, but Saijo tells her he doesn't see any sparkles around her. This makes her frustrated. At that time, their school mate Yadorigi approaches Saijo, because she believes Saijo is Kitashiro’s boyfriend. Yadorigi has a bad habit of approaching guys who are already in a relationship and trying to seduce him.

Meanwhile, Saijo happens to meet Shinonome. They exchange a diary with writings about what love is. Kitashiro attempts to disrupt the budding relationship between Saijo and Shinonome.
