It's a belief that money (coins) which were put into a dead man's mouth will be used by them in their next life. When the dead has been disturbed and the money stolen, the dead will somehow get it back. Who ever took the money will have to face the consequences.

The Cowherd and the Weaver Girl is a Chinese folk tale. The tale of the cowherd and the weaver girl is a love story between Zhinü (織女; the weaver girl, symbolizing the star Vega) and Niulang (牛郎; the cowherd, symbolizing the star Altair). Their love was not allowed, thus they were banished to opposite sides of the heavenly river (symbolizing the Milky Way). Once a year, on the 7th day of the 7th lunar month, a flock of magpies would form a bridge to reunite the lovers for one day. There are many variations of the story. The earliest-known reference to this famous myth dates back to over 2600 years ago, which was told in a poem from the Classic of Poetry. The tale of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl has been celebrated in the Qixi Festival in China since the Han dynasty. It has also been celebrated in the Tanabata festival in Japan, and in the Chilseok festival in Korea. The story was selected as one of China's Four Great Folktales by the "Folklore Movement" in the 1920s—the others being the Legend of the White Snake, Lady Meng Jiang, and Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai—but Idema (2012) also notes that this term neglects the variations and therefore diversity of the tales, as only a single version was taken as the true version.

Late Qing Dynasty, a wealthy merchant, Mr. Bai, in a small town of Jiangnan region is murdered and his death becomes the region's most publicized crime. An Pinyuan, a bounty hunter, is assigned to Baisha (White Sand) Town to solve the murder case. Slowly, he discovers that Mr. Bai died because of a secret. The four wives of the Bai family, the Japanese, and bandits all seem to play a part in the case and exhaust much of death is also closely linked to his own father's death. They both lost their lives because of a gold mine map....

The series continues the fantasy and horror style of the previous two seasons, telling 12 different stories: speakers that make strange voices, wigs that grow out of the floor, black and white photos hidden under the bed, a washing machine that can make anything disappear, a phone call from a parallel universe... Every episode has a cursed story.

An accident cause the body swap between female star and her bodyguard causing love sparks between two strange but yet intimate person

Set during a period of reform, Li Chunsheng represents the Chinese worker who becomes braver in the face of obstacles and takes up the burden of caring for others. Li Chunsheng falls for Bai JIe at first sight but her mother Ding Ruilan is against their relationship. In spite of the doubts about him, Li Chunsheng persisted for his love. Sadly, Bai Jie dies due to complications at chidbirth. Li Chungsheng tries to get back on his feet, aligning his personal interests with that of the company, all while taking care of his family.
