AKB 1ji 59fun! was the start of what was later to become AKBINGO. It aired 10 episodes before it changed its name to AKB 0ji 59fun, and then finally AKBINGO.

It is based on the story of young cartoonist Xiong Dun who encounters double setbacks in love and the workplace. In the face of adversity, she bravely fights her illness and spreads positivity with her infectious smile.

Karnploo is an orphan that has been raised by an aunt who treats her like a servant. When her aunt wants money to continue her lavish lifestyle, she sells Karnploo to an older, wealthy man.
