Terminally ill former intelligence agent Ki Heon, encounters the first ever genetically mutated human clone Seo Bok, who holds the secret of eternal life. Ki Heon is tasked with the safe transportation of mankind's first human clone as his last mission. They become caught in dangerous situations as several forces aim to take the clone for their own agenda.

The movie reinterprets the story of Xu Fu (pronounced 'Seo Bok' in Korean) from a modern viewpoint. Xu Fu was from the Qin Dynasty and he was sent by Qin Shi Huang to find the elixir of life twice.

In his fiftieth year of marriage to Tomiko, Shuzo decides to buy her a birthday present for a change. However, she tells him she wants his seal on an application for divorce. Their children swiftly convene a family meeting.

A young husband appears to be cheating on his wife, he thinks she is having an affair with her cousin. She retreats to a large upstairs room covered in cobwebs, and is willing herself to become an insect, just like the character in Kafka’s Metamorphosis.

Ya Qing, a female disciple of the Mystic Blade Sect, goes down the mountain for her first time and is suddenly involved in a conspiracy with the "Snake People". While she tries to escape from them, she meets two other girls, Fu Feng and Jiang Ruochen, who encountered the same thing. The three become friends and they go on a journey to discover the truth behind this conspiracy.

Heeding the words of a fortune teller, Phloeng becomes engaged to Rawi, a boy from the countryside. Both enter into it reluctantly. Disbelieving the prophecy but appeasing his parents, Phloeng agrees to the arrangement on the condition that, should six months pass without the relationship deepening, he'll call it off.

Throughout his stay with Phloeng's family, Rawi is haunted by a spirit. When he begins staying with Phloeng, however, the spirit is quiet. It soon becomes clear that whatever is haunting the house is focused entirely on Rawi.

Sang Min comes to Finland to send her autistic son to a special camp. She feels so alienated in snow covered-white Helsinki. Ki Hong is an architect working in Finland on dispatched duty. His family is not so perfect either with a daughter having depression and a mentally unstable wife. The two meet for the first time at the gathering point of this special camp. They get to have a short trip to the camp together in silence but start to feel comfortable and connected to each other.

On their way back to Helsinki, with the road blocked by heavy snow, Sang Min and Ki Hong are isolated in a cabin by the forest and lake. Carried away by irresistible passion, they spend a night together. But the next day, they go separate ways without asking each other’s names…
