A drama about love lives and careers of three women, who are in their late thirties, living their lives as divorced woman, a spinster, and a full-time housewife. Jung Wan (Eugene) is bubbly and forthright woman who divorces after ten years of marriage and moves in with her son to her mother’s house. Liao Zhai Zhi Yi, or Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio, is a collection of nearly five hundred mostly supernatural tales published during the early Qing Dynasty. n Liao Zhai Qi Nü Zi four stories are selected, telling the stories about some beautiful unique women's life.

Jingbirok, the name of a book written by real-life Joseon historian and scholar Ryu Seong Ryong, detailing the Imjin War (1592-1598). The drama will be a telling of historical events with the scholar as the central character, in the same vein as "Jeong Do Jeon" (who influenced the founding of the Joseon dynasty). Ryu Seong Ryong was an official who served during King Seonjo’s reign in the late 16th century. He was a brilliant Confucian scholar who was put in charge of military operations during the Imjin War, and greatly influenced Admiral Lee Soon Shin.

Mu Di, a Suo Na professional woman with a high decree of education and ability, went back home to recover from an injury. There she meets Bai Lang, a smart and capable boss of a company. Due to an incident, the two are forced to run a business together.

In the process of building the business together, Mu Di not only felt a different kind of human warmth but also got welcomed with open arms by the local people of the town, got the inspiration to combine traditional art and pop culture.

Mu Di has a new understanding of the folk music she once used to love. She has made continual progress in performances and have received much praise. She has also changed her rocky start with Bai Lang for the better.

In the end, Mu Di and the members of the folk orchestra took the opportunity to make traditional folk music that's known and loved by many.

Under the influence of Bai Lang, Mu Di put down her walls and faced her heart. Not only did she find a career that she loves, but she also found a home that she loves.
