Food blogger Su Shi Yu loses a business opportunity she had been pursuing for months, after her business partner engages in unfair competition. She is then compelled to accept a quirky task from Lin Xiao Jian, the chairman of Haowei Coffee. The task? Convince his son, Lin Wei, to give up his meditation retreat and descend the mountain to inherit the family business. Su Shi Yu initially believes that this is a simple matter of persuasion, but she repeatedly faces challenges. An old saying has it that it takes the first generation to create the business and the second one to destroy it. When the Tanaka Family's father, a career private eye, passes away, eldest daughter and mother figure Sayuri has to decide whether or not to continue the family detective business. Seeing no hope or interest on the part of her other younger siblings to carry on the business, she is about to shut it down when her long-lost elder brother, Ichiro, returns. A down-on-his-luck truck-driving single father now, he decides to take the mantle and continue the family tradition-his only experience being that he played cops and robbers as a kid. In his new capacity of "president" of the family business he conveniently decides to move into the home that he left many years before. Will the Tanaka Clan really be able to resurrect the business together? Or does elder brother Ichiro have some other plans for the business?

Nakajo Hitomi works as an OL and she is huge fan of stage actor Kiryu Toma. Her big joy in life is to watch him perform in stage plays, but she has been recently feeling down because of Toma’s sudden retirement from acting. One day, she meets her new boss Takagi Shuichi. Surprisingly, her new boss is the retired stage actor Kiryu Toma, but using his birth name. After his retirement, he began to work at the company in which his father runs and where Hitomi works. He becomes popular with the female employees at the company and he behaves sweetly to all of them. Hitomi wants to talk to him like the other female employees, but, when she gets the chance, she panics and gives him a cold reaction. Shuichi becomes interested in Hitomi, who seems different from the other female employees.
