Hong Kyung-Tak (Cha Seung-Won), a good-hearted citizen with high morals, returns from the army and gets hired as the body guard for KBB Security Company. Han Sung-Soo (Song Yil-Gook) is the president of KBB Security. When Sung-Soo attempts to bring down a politician through bribery, Kyung-Tak quits his job and joins another security company led by his friend. Park Yoo-Jin (Han Go-Eun) is a female bodyguard who works at KBB. A love triangle forms when she begins developing feelings for Kyung-Tak, while at the same time, Sung-Soo has feelings for her. When Yoo-Jin learns of Sung-Soo’s corrupt dealings, she decides not to give him a chance to be with her. The love triangle worsens when Kyung-Tak’s sister’s friend, Na Young (Yim Eun-Kyung), moves into the neighborhood and begins liking Kyung-Tak. Unfortunately for Na Young, Kyung-Tak only sees her as a little sister.

Kazuya Oki volunteers to undergo cybernetic surgery in the International Space Development Program in the United States in order to become an astronaut who can survive in outer space without the need for a bulky external suit. After a successful operation, he is given the codename "Super-1". Before he can depart for space, however, the base where he received his operation is attacked by the Dogma Kingdom. Only Kazuya is able to escape and determined to avenge the deaths of the scientists, he returns to Japan and is trained by a martial arts expert, Master Genkai. With this knowledge, he is able to transform into the powerful Kamen Rider Super-1 to fight the evil Dogma Kingdom and later the Jin Dogma.

Having lost her father at an early age, farm security guard Chan Sai-Mui (Yumiko Cheng) grew to be an outspoken and determined woman who would do her utmost to protect her home village. A murder case occurs in Woojin, a town blessed with no crime. Detective Oh Jin Seong, known for being cheerful, joins the investigation team when his younger brother Jin Woo is identified as a suspect in a murder case. Jin Woo is eventually cleared of false accusations, and the culprit is revealed. Jin Seong's performance earns him preferential treatment at the Gangnam Police station, but his brother is suddenly attacked by someone on a rainy night and dies unexpectedly.
