Set 2 years after season 1 of "Dr. Storks," drama series follows the growth and conflicts of Konotori Sakura. He works as a doctor delivering babies and also performs as a concert pianist under the nickname of "Baby."

Tokumei Gakari (Special Mission Task Team) – is not considered as important as it might sound. It is positioned in the lowest section of the Metropolitan Police Department and so-called as the “oversized garbage dealer”. Ukyo Sugishita is the head of this Tokumei Gakari. Ukyo is very independent and with smart insights investigates on his own, he solves a lot of crimes assigned to Criminal Division of MPD, who dislike his interference. Ukyo's present partner is detective Tooru Kai assigned to the Team by the Assistant Comissioner of NPA, Mineaki Kai, his father.

Ikeda Yoshimi, a 28-year-old editor of a literary magazine who loves otome games and loves good-looking guys, will be in charge of a gourmet magazine even though she is not good at eating with ultra-small meals. However, she notices that when she eats with good-looking men, her appetite increases, and she pursues "good-looking rice" to improve her small meals.

Mozu vows revenge and infiltrates Japan as a North Korean agent. The suspension of a murder case investigation is announced suddenly without a clear explanation. Kuraki (Hidetoshi Nishijima), Osugi (Teruyuki Kagawa) and Miki (Yoko Maki) try to reveal the conspiracy which is about to be hidden. 

In January 1933, the Japanese army captured Shanhaiguan and occupied Chengde in March. The anti-Japanese situation in North China was in jeopardy. Shanghai's multinational forces are glued and undercurrent. Gu Pan, Tian Qiao Jie and Tan Zhong Wen are agents of Qingshan Military Academy. Gu Pan was alone in completing the assassination of the Japanese Economic Secretary, Koji Koji. Gu Pan was wounded to complete the mission, but was rescued by Wei Dong, an outstanding soldier. Under the guidance of Wei Dong, Gu Pan has been tested and entered the secret organization "Nest" to try to find out why he was framed.

In the process of pursuing justice, Gu Pan gradually moved closer to the Red Revolution and used the "Hippo" as the codename to become a communist fighter.

Strange crimes occur in Thailand as the ranking for the world's best detective sees a shift. New detectives come into the picture to tackle three difficult cases.

Lin Mo is the student of Chinatown's number one detective. Yetian Hao'er is Yetian Hao younger brother. Separate storylines find the two characters caught in the center of mysteries revolving around the victim's widow Ivy and bar singer A Wen. Lin Mo pursues two cases: Four-Faced Buddha and Name of the Rose that not only takes place in Bangkok but also in Kaoshiung.

The third case about the Ghost's Invitation takes the story back to Bangkok and then to Tokyo. The investigator on the job is none other than Yetian Hao'er who teams up with Asia's five-member team that includes Lu Jing Jing and rookie policewoman Sa Sha.
