The miniseries follow a couple who have shared an emotionally painful past, but have a chance to rekindle their spark again. Jo Yoon Hee stars as a practical office worker who suddenly finds an opportunity to reunite with her first love, played by Jung Gyu Woon. Unfortunately he's still not quite all-grown-up.

The story begins with Athit, a driver, pretending to be his boss, Rattawee. And Wilailuck, a servant, pretending to be a high-class woman by stealing her mistress, Montira's, dresses. Athit and Wilai go on a date and fall in love at first sight not knowing that the other one is lying. When the two bosses know about this, they demand for both of the servants to tell the other the truth, but they continue to lie. When Rattawee first encounters Montira, he immediately falls for her and tells Athit to continue lying. Rattawee and Montira get to spend time together and start to fall in love too. Will both couples be able to accept each others' true identities at the end?

In the Goryeo period, Sun Ok Nam was a fairy. She came down to this world and took a bath at a waterfall on Gyeryong Mountain. While she took the bath, a woodcutter took her fairy clothes and hid them. Because of this, Sun Ok Nam could not go back to Heaven. She then married the woodcutter and they had two children together, but her husband died from falling off of a cliff. Sun Ok Nam tried to find her fairy clothes, but she still could not locate it. Needing her fairy clothes, she decides to wait for husband to be reincarnated.

Now in the present day, she makes coffee at a cafe on Gyeryong Mountain and waits for her reincarnated husband. Finally, after 699 years, she gets a feeling that one of the two men visiting her cafe from Seoul is her reincarnated husband. Sun Ok-Nam is not sure which one of the two men is her husband. She deicides to follow them to Seoul to find out.

Musical prodigy Cha Yoo Jin (Joo Won) dreams of conducting orchestras, but despite his ambitions and international upbringing, he's begrudgingly stuck in South Korea because of a traumatic childhood accident. Cue Seol Nae Il (Shim Eun Kyung), a nutty classmate who eschews the rules and plays everything by ear, from music to life. Though initially repelled by her unrefined ways, Yoo Jin slowly discovers Nae Il is the unique melody to his harmony: combined, the two create a song that makes their hearts soar.

"Khem Sorn Plai" is the story of a beautiful girl named Cherd, who is stuck in a marriage with Dr. Ruengboon in an overseas country. In a loveless marriage, she finds herself falling for, Lanna, a Thai student who has come overseas to study. However, Dr. Ruengboon refuses to give Cherd a divorce and this keeps her bound to him unwillingly.

Eventually, Lanna returns to Thailand and begins a new life by marrying Yaowayod, a young woman who is perfect in both looks and social status — and most of all was chosen for him by his mother. Despite having a sweet wife, Lanna can not forget Cherd and continues to keep the dazzling girl in his heart silently.

When Dr. Ruengboon discovers that Lanna has gotten married, he finally divorces Cherd and so she too returns to Thailand and begins a new life. However, despite many young men ready to peruse her, she still holds a lit candle for Lanna — unable to forget him. And what of Lanna, who expresses the desire to get together with Cherd again, while not wanting to break up with his wife Yaowayod?

The hidden needle in this story is the expression of passions in young men and women and how Cherd, after a long period of being misguided, decides to be free of the debt of the word "love".
