A teen fantasy thriller drama that tells the story of people attempting to get out of the quicksand caused by a dangerous and harmful cookie that makes their wishes into reality with just one bite.

After losing her parents in an unfortunate accident, Choi Soo Young has to take care of her three years younger sister. When she became 18 years old, she become the breadwinner of her family. She gave up on high school and began working at a factory, taking up several odd part-time jobs to provide for herself and her younger sister. However, one day her sister gets into trouble cause by a homemade cookie, and she risks everything to protect her.

Seo Ho Su is a 3rd year student at Junghan High School, the best private school in South Korea. His mother is battling cancer, while his father disappeared a long time ago. Despite his personal problems, he tries to focus only on his studies, but often becomes a victim of his rich classmates whom think of him as a pushover who is at their disposal.

Yoo Seong Pil is a mysterious underground college admissions consultant. He uses any means necessary, even illegal, to help his students enter the university they wish for. Although nobody asked him to, he goes to Junghan High School to take a consultant position for the entire 3rd grade class, and he slowly starts to reveal his true intentions after entering the said school...

In October 1938, the Japanese army took Wuhan city, and the city of Changsha got in imminent peril.  A young woman, Xiang Xiang (Andy Yang), is introduced by her family to Gu Qingming (Wallace Huo), an officer who returned to defend Changsha.  But Xiang Xiang's boldness and Gu Qingming's arrogant pride makes their first meeting like water and fire.  Xiang Xiang's family choses someone other than Gu Qingming as her fiance.On the day of Xiang Xiang's engagement, Chiang Kai-Shek gives the secret order to burn down the city of Changsha, and due to improper direction, the great fire leads to a tremendous disaster. The flourishing ancient city is destroyed overnight. As there's no time to run, numerous people are caught in their sleep and burnt to death, including the entire family of Xiangxiang's fiancé.And so, on this piece of scorched earth, the heros and children of Changsha, together with the people of Hunan, are facing the challenge of resisting the iron heel of the enemy.  Xiang Xiang and Gu Qingming eventually fall in love, but the war is pulling them apart...

Yami o Terasu Mono takes place at some undetermined point in the future in Vol City, a metropolis build around a volcano. Leaving many questions behind the loss of his golden armor's radiance, and the fate of his predecessor, Kouga Saezima. Ryuuga is the latest Garo The Golden Knight. He does not have any jurisdiction over any part of Japan, unlike his predecessor, and his habit of dressing in black clothes exudes a wild and imposing personality, while he is actually kind and positive. He possesses the innate ability to determine people's feelings by touching their belongings. Takeru Jakuzure is a fellow Makai Knight, serving as Zen the Flame Sword Knight, a self-styled playboy who would rather find a lady friend than battle Horrors. Aguri Kusugami is another Makai Knight, serving as Gai the Sky Bow Knight, the latest in a line of Makai Knights of the Kusugami clan, although he worries he cannot live up to the prestige his name carries. Rian is a beautiful and flashy Makai Priestess armed with the Makai Gun who always uses her skills for good, however, she has a hard time believing what others tell her due to her upbringing. Mado Ring Zaruba is the mentor and Madougu of the original Garo of the Saezima clan. He does not usually participate in fights but does give advice. However, Zaruba rarely speaks while he is with Ryuuga. Burai is a Makai Priest based in Vol City who is Aguri's partner and Rian's mentor. He uses a Makai Beast named Ragou in combat. He seems to have some history with Ryuuga. ~ Enhou is the female commander of the special forces task force SG1. She is not sure of the significance of the appearances of Horrors in Vol City, but she suspects Ryuuga to be behind it somehow.
