Michiru (Erika Toda) works at a book store in a small city. She has a boyfriend named Kyutaro (Tasuku Emoto), but falls into an affair with publishing company employee Toyomasu (Hirofumi Arai). Toyomasu visits the city from Tokyo. Michiru then plans to go to Tokyo with Toyomasu to eventually settle down there. Right before Michiru leaves for Tokyo, her co-worker asks her to a buy lottery ticket which she does. Later, Michiru finds out the lottery ticket she bought is the winning ticket of a 200 million yen prize. Her world is about to change. A man who claims to be Michiru's husband tells the story of her personal life. Michiru's long time friend Takei (Kengo Kora) is the only she trust in Tokyo, but Takei has something to hide. Meanwhile, Toyomasu goes missing. Her former boyfriend Kyutaro arrives in Tokyo to find Michiru, but falls into an incident. A murder takes place.

Kurosaki Yoriko is 32. She has no boyfriend, no friends and no job. One day in July, she moves away from her family home in Shirokane, Tokyo, with the help of her younger sister, Miki. Then Yoriko visits Koichi, the ex-boyfriend she broke up with five years ago and whom she cannot forget, and cries in front of his home. However, she gets turned away. Yoriko continues to get letters from “Tanaka Yasuo” even after this. This is the story of the small incidents that occur within a 7-minute walking distance from Yoriko’s apartment.

A story revolving around the mischievous Concubine Meng who starts out at odds with the King but falls in love with him in the process.

Because of constant disagreements with Bu Meng's father, the King decides to let off some steam by picking a bone with Bu Meng one day but unexpectedly becomes attracted to her unique personality. He starts to purposely create opportunities for them to meet that are brushed away by Bu Meng who tries to avoid him as much as possible. Not until a chance encounter outside the palace does she begin to see the King's many good and lovable sides.
