Han Yi Han was an elite elite surgeon. He graduated at the top of the best medical school in South Korea and he specialized in two departments: general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery. One surgery changed his life. Han Yi Han believe he did well on that surgery, but the patient died. He then got his medical license revoked.

Four years later, Han Yi Han works as a lawyer, specializing in medical litigation. He also tries to uncover the truth behind the death of his former patient. For his trials, Han Yi Han defends victims and tries to punish those that commit medical malpractice and negligence. He works with a public prosecutor, who lost a family member and a lover due to the surgery Han Yi Han performed.

Kim Sun Ja was born and raised in Busan, Korea in the early 20th century, while Korea was under Japanese rule. She falls in love with a man named Koh Han Su. She can see that he is a powerful person and from a different social class from her, but she is unaware of his complete background. Meanwhile, a church priest named Baek Isak comes to stay at the lodge run by Kim Sun Ja's mother. When he learns of Kim Sun Ja's situation, he tries to give her advice, but, when he experiences her unwavering conviction, he offers to marry her. Kim Sun Ja soon moves to Japan and faces difficult times as a Korean immigrant living in a unfamiliar land.

In New York in 1989, Baek Solomon is determined to succeed in the corporate world. A company wants to build a new hotel in Tokyo, but a Korean woman refuses to sell her land where the hotel is to be built. Baek Solomon offers to his bosses to travel to Tokyo and persuade the woman to sell her land to the hotel group. He also goes to see his family there.

After you hit bottom, is it possible to return to the top? Former top child actress Lin Wei Zhen (Kimi Hsia) has been unable to find work as she grew older in the entertainment industry, throwing her in the pits of depression and self-pity. She then meets Zhou Shu Yu (Chris Wu), a producer who is at the peak of his successful career. But when his friend Xu Li Da (Mike Lee) and his girlfriend, Yang Jia Xin (Nita Lei), both betray him, Shu Yu loses everything he has worked so hard to attain. With only Wei Zhen at his side at his lowest moment, can the former child star and the rock-bottom producer help each other to regain their former glory?

In the third season, all the scenes have become realistic, in which the cast members experience the whole crime setting themselves. Props and the background of the cases are all original and solid, such as the hotel in episode one. There are one to two victims for each case, making the cases far more complex than the previous two seasons.

A man who appears to have no particular passion for anything ironically proves effective with troubled high school students. Known as a legendary savior of problem schools, he shows up one day to salvage what's left of a class that had fallen apart completely. His highly unpredictable reactions and controversial advice to students shock the teachers and staffs much as they do the problem students themselves.

Tooru Igarashi (Kotaro Koizumi) is a lecturer with charisma, working at a prestigious preparatory school. Recently, he drinks a lot and his life falls apart. Maki Endo (Haruna Kawaguchi) is a student at a part-time high school. Every day, she is exhausted with working multiple jobs to cover her expenses. One day, Tooru and Maki happen to meet each other. Maki wants to graduate high school to get a regular job and asks Tooru to tutor her for her test–retest. After Tooru quit his prep school job, he has lost his pride and passion to teach. Tooru was also diagnosed to have only a year left to live. He decides to teach Maki and get her into the University of Tokyo.

The usually bright teacher Xiao Shui Guang becomes depressed after losing her boyfriend. Because of an incident at school, she gets to know the older brother of one of the students Zhang Zheng Lan, who is the boss of a games company. Zheng Lan discovers that Shui Guang is the one who once gave him the idea for a game and starts to pursue her. He soon realizes that she closed herselfoff and thus promises her: “You protect your secret and I will protect you.”

Jiang Bao Ning, the princess of Jianan County, grows up in the palace since childhood. She remains carefree despite knowing that there is no freedom within the palace walls and does not want to be used as a puppet.

Thus, relying on her own ingenuity, she resists the fate of becoming a tool in the inner palace fighting.

Li Qian, a guard of the Imperial Army, wants to understand the truth behind some events many years ago. He works hard to seek a higher position in the palace, just to get relevant clues.

They are two people with vastly different personalities who meet by chance and love each other. In order to reverse their own destiny, they work together, look forward to breaking through the barriers of identity and stay with their loved ones for a lifetime.
