Usobuki Tadashi is a mysterious man with red eyes. He wears black suits with a wine-red shirt and possesses a special power which will drive people to their death through methods, such as curses and brainwashing. However, it is impossible for his crimes to be proven in court thus Usobuki cannot be taken to justice for the killings he did, on behalf of his clients. Meanwhile, there is Tada Tomoko, a police detective and the only person who cannot be controlled by Usobuki.

The play tells the story of the rich girl Wen Wei who was helpless because of her love and was forced to marry into a poor houseboat girl, but she saw her old love again in Shanghai.

This is a modern Cinderella story. Su La & Yan Ru Yu (Su La's best friend) have graduated from Shanghai graduate university. The two are hopelessly in love with their careers. With the face of double stress, two good friends encourage each other and swear to go explore the world out of Shanghai. As they promise, the two came to work at the same travel agency. By chance, Su La meet the young successful CEO Qiu Shi. Qiu Shi is deeply attracted to Su La and starts to pursue her love. However, because of her strong self-esteem and the fact that she is still recovering from the last relationship, Su La is unwilling to accept Qiu Shi. She is determined to concentrate on helping her boss, Liu Hao Dong, to advance the first step into Shanghai tourism enterprise. In the tense society and the work competition, Su La & Yan Ru Yu is struggling to make their ways, so the two choose two different paths. Yan Ru Yu violates the work ethics, betrays the travel agency and puts the blame on Su La, who then loses her job. Because of this, their friendship is broken and they separate from each other. Will Su La and Yan Ru Yu ever become friends again? And will Qui Shi succeed in making Su La fall for him in the end?

The story begins when men and women in their mid-40s meet each other again after 30 years, in a class reunion set up by a former classmate. With their current life hidden, they all enjoy the reunion and return to their respective lives, only to find out that two of the members begin to meet frequently, causing old flames to spark again and turn into a dangerous love affair. The struggles between families and burdens of reality are described in detail, but as they solve the mystery, the friendships and love between them remain unchanged after a number of conflicts and reconciliations. The story depicts the solitude and the pain of middle age in modern life which forces the responsibility of parenthood and spouses on them and provides a chance to look back on the lives they unknowingly abandoned long ago.

Han Jae Min, a budding photographer, is in love with Seo Hee Won. As an ELLE reporter she spends most of her time at Lee Seo Jun's photography studio Conan. Jae Min starts dating the perpetual exam taker Kim Geun Young, whose brother works at Conan, to get a job there. Naive girl that she is, Geun Young falls right into his plot.

Jae Min's schemes are successful and then he tries to break things off with Geun Young, the girlfriend he never wanted. Geun Young however wants revenge for being used and isn't ready to let him go. She makes him sign a break-up contract. He must stay and help her get over him until she's ready to let him go. As Geun Young lets him go little by little Jae Min falls for her little by little. Unfortunately for Jae Min, Lee Seo Jun also falls for Geun Young and isn't afraid to show it.

Ken is a player who dates a lot of women at the same time. He decides to trick Aim, an innocent girl, into falling in love with him after she tries to expose him. But his plan backfires and he eventually falls for her too.
