A supernatural-themed detective series – however the ‘supernatural’ won’t be the traditional ghosts and spirits-theme that audiences are used to seeing. Rather, the drama uses ‘super’ scientific concepts as well as realistic methods to investigate a variety of mysterious, unusual cases. The series will revolve around the main character Hung Gei Yuen -- a former high-ranking police inspector who, after being traumatized by the mysterious death of his son, acquires the hidden ability to capture and enter other people’s subconscious, as he deeply believes that his son was actually murdered in the ‘inner confines of the subconscious’! At the same time, he starts to display signs of having a split personality and works hard to study about the ‘hidden subconscious’ in the hopes of one day finding his son’s killer.

Each main character in this series will have some sort of ‘hidden ability’ that makes them different from other people. Even though each of them will have a ‘regrettable flaw’ and perhaps even be viewed by society as being ‘abnormal’ or ‘weird’, this does not affect their self-esteem. In fact, they are able to turn this ‘regrettable flaw’ into a ‘hidden ability’ and use it to help them solve many mysterious cases.

The alien invader Goa plots to conquer the Earth. He first warns the Murakami family (father Atsushi, mother Tomoko, and son Mamoru) of their invasion, and demonstrates his powers by transporting them to a prehistoric jungle and destroying a Giant Dinosaur (in reality, Agon, the title monster of a Godzilla-like TV series) before their very eyes. But they will not agree to surrender to Goa, so hope comes in the form of Magma, an armored, golden giant with long hair and antennae. He and his human-sized wife Mol, both created by the wizard Earth (who indeed lives deep beneath the Earth), are sent to defend our world against Goa. They befriend Atsushi and Mamoru; the latter has touched Magma emotionally, as he wanted to have a child with his wife Mol, so Earth creates a duplicate of Mamoru, named Gam (who wears a helmet with antennas). Earth gives Mamoru a whistle, with which he can call Gam (when blown once), Mol (when blown twice) and Magma (when blown thrice) in times of crisis. So when Goa unleashes his various daikaiju, chances are, Magma, Mol, and Gam will fly to the rescue.

Nakama Yukie plays the role of Rin, who works at a publishing company and is someone who has not dated in 8 years. She has been too busy working and looking after her siblings after their parents passed away. Her colleagues and boss consider her "difficult" to handle because of her strong-willed personality. Diyar-e-Dil depicted the story of Bakhtiyar Khan / Agha Jan (Abid Ali)'s family, It is the story of two brothers (Agha Jan's sons) and their emotional bond, the story depicts their journey of how they separate from each other and suffer without each other's presence. Agha Jan's family which apart long ago due to the rebelliousness of his son Behroze Bakhtiyar Khan (Mekal Zulfiqar) when he refused to marry his father's choice (and his paternal cousin) Arjumand Bedar Khan (Hareem Farooq) to marry Ruhina Arsalan (Sanam Saeed) instead. After getting disowned by his father, Behroze left his house to marry Ruhina, without the consent of Agha Jaan, while Arjumand was forced to marry Behroze's younger brother, Suhaib Bakhtiyar Khan (Ali Rehman Khan). Behroze and Ruhi were insulted by Agha Jan when Behroze came back for apology, Agha Jan chose Suhaib and Arjumand over them, the two were banished forever, they left and decided to start a new life in Lahore whereas Arjumand and Suhaib decided not to grow more close. Both the couples faced different situations, with one in love and the other in depression. The series then focused on their life after marriage and showed how Suhaib and Arjumand grew more closer after giving birth to Wali Suhaib Khan (Osman Khalid Butt), and fell in love, whereas afterwards Ruhi and Behroze's daughter, Faarah Behroze Khan (Maya Ali) was born as well. After twenty-years, Behroze became a successful business man, both the couples were settled and satisfied. It was also shown how Suhaib never stopped looking after his older brother, in hope to get him back home until his death after which Behroze reunited with his family. Their children were married, fulfilling Suhaib last wish to reunite the family. However, Ruhina opposed this decision and left Behroze in anger due to her brother's manipulation As a result, Behroze died of her umbrage. With the grief of her father's death, and the constant persuasion of her maternal uncle and cousin, Faraah demanded for a divorce from Wali along with her inheritance, which further increased tension in the family and became the cause of Agha Jaan's developing illness. Faarah told her mother she did not want her inheritance, and that it was added to her divorce agreements without her choice, due to which Ruhi left the house in anger and her daughter alone. After Agha Jaan's second heart attack, Wali kidnapped Faarah from her house and drove her to his summer resort, locking her in a room so she would not be able to escape. Once Faarah calmed down, Wali made an agreement with her; that if she agreed to live with Agha Jaan for three months, he would give her a divorce so she could marry her cousin Moeez (Ahmad Zeb) whom which he thought she loved. Following the agreement Faarah developed affection towards Agha Jaan when she realizes the mistakes and lies told by her uncle Tajamul Arsalan (Behroze Sabzwari) and mother, and eventually develops a soft corner for Wali. Tajamul and Moeez's truth was revealed to Ruhi after which she regretted her doings and was locked up by Moeez. He kidnapped Faarah to retain her inheritance to invest in his business, where Wali saved Faarah and gets wounded of gun shot. Moeez ended up in jail, while Ruhi breaks all ties from her brother and reunites with Agha Jaan and her in-laws apologizing for her doings. Faarah admits her love for Wali the day her contract was due, and the two reconciled removing all the misconceptions they had in their hearts and complete the valley of heart (Diyar-e-Dil).

Sokoi Takehachi and Tsumura Aki are journalists working for the "Weekly Dodongo". Their editor, Yamazaki Jiro, had assigned them to stake out former state assemblyman Okase Shohei, who is about to be released from prison. 7 years ago, Okase was found guilty of misappropriating state funds amounting to 100 mil yen. However, only 70 mil yen were accounted for during the trial. Yamazaki has a hunch that upon his release, Okase will be retrieving that money from wherever he had hidden it. Both Takehachi and Aki had tailed Okase to the racecourse, and from there to a street near Kagurazaka, Tokyo, where they lost him. Next thing they know, the news world is abuzz with the rumor that Okase had found the body of a strangled man at a cemetery in Katsuura, Chiba. Yamazaki's instinct tells him that the murder has something to do with the unaccounted for money, and so he decides to bring Takehachi along with him to call on Okase. They pay a visit to the Nishida Stables, where they are introduced to the stable hand, Suekichi Hideo, the stable owner, Nishida Ryuzo and one of the racehorse's owner, state assemblyman Tateyama Torahei. Yamazaki decides against bringing up the matter of Okase, which puzzles Takehachi, but yet Yamazaki does not share his reason for doing so with him. Not long after, a trunk is found in the forests of Mizusawa, Iwate. In it is a corpse of a man. How is the corpse related to Okase? Why was it stuffed inside the trunk?

An ex-actress who is now the wife of a famous politician is suddenly caught in a murder case. After a party goes haywire, the wife wakes up to the dead body of the stripper her friends hired. The same day she's being questioned, a man turns himself in. The brother of the "murderer" doesn't believe that his brother would truly hurt someone. His reign is considered the first golden age of the Tang Dynasty, which lays a solid foundation for the Kaiyuan era.
