Gu Cheng Ze, the adopted son of the Gu family, is the CEO of Gu Mall Corporation. Mrs. Gu wishes for her biological grandson, Gu Jin Yu to take over the company; and Gu Cheng Ze is tasked to guide the rightful heir towards becoming a respectful businessman. During this time, he meets fashion designer Li Yan Shu and discovers that she is Gu Jin Yu's ex-girlfriend. He decides to hire her aboard to motivate Gu Jin Yu, who still harbors feelings for Li Yan Shu. The plan worked when Gu Jin Yu decides to join the company and pursue her. When Mrs. Gu finds out about Gu Jin Yu's feelings for Li Yan Shu, she was livid and tells Gu Cheng Ze to separate the both of them. This creates an opportunity for Gu Cheng Ze and Li Yan Shu to get closer to each other, and they fell in love. With the help of Li Yan Shu, Gu Cheng Ze overcomes many difficult situations. Gu Jin Yu, after undergoing life-changing experiences, also matures and successfully took over his company.

Emperor Li Shi Min of the Tang dynasty has frequently been plagued by the same nightmare, in which he sees himself being hunted in a forest and helplessly trapped by enemies. Managing director Kang Pil Joo is envied by many inside the Chungah Group where he is known for his intelligence and high-performance. The “Money Flower” portrays a story of interlinked relationships between Pil Joo who is capable of bringing down Chungah, Mo Hyun who seeks love and a young Chungah Group scion named Bu Cheon. Nishiki Sanada (Aoi Nakamura) and Jiro Yamada (Tokio Emoto) work together as manga artists. Their target audience is teen female readers, but what they really want to draw about is gourmet manga. Their bookshelves are filled with cooking books. When they are under pressure to meet a deadline, they go to their bookshelves and find a book containing their favorite recipes. Forgetting their deadline, they begin to cook.

Gong Sun Li (Dilraba Dilmurat) is the grand-daughter and disciple of military commander Gong Sun Yu. Jing Ke (first disciple, played by Liu Chang) and Sun Li are childhood lovers and were forced to escape when Qin troops attacked.

However, Sun Li’s wall-shattering beauty seizes the interest of the Qin Emperor, Ying Zheng (Zhang Bin Bin), and she’s captured and sent to his palace. It’s then that she discovers she’s pregnant with Jing Ke’s child (Tian Ming). Ying Zheng treats him as if he’s his own child.

The tragic day arrives when Jing Ke tries to assassinate Ying Zheng and dies trying.

Sun Li (known then as Li Ji) also succumbs on the same day, leaving orphan Tian Ming to escape the palace with Han Shen, Jing Ke’s good friend.

Kishibe Midori is a 25-year-old woman who works in the editorial department of a fashion magazine that belongs to a large publishing company. However, the fashion magazine was cancelled by its parent company. Kishibe Midori then gets transferred to the editing department for a dictionary. What awaits Kishibe Midori is that there are people filled with personality, including the head of the editorial department, Majime Mitsuya. Initially, Kishibe Midori had a hard time in her new workplace.

As time goes by, she becomes inspired by the persistence and enthusiasm of those who work around her. They have spent over a decade working on one dictionary. Kishibe Midori finds attractiveness in the words she works with. She also develops pride and self-fulfilment over her work.
