Ye Yi Fan, once an innocent youth, swears revenge after his family is slaughtered, transforming into the ruthless and enigmatic crime boss known as "Mr. Mo." In this guise, he encounters Xia Zhi Qiu, a dancer. Thus begins a love game between hunter and prey. Ye Yi Fan gradually falls in love with Xia Zhi Qiu due to her seduction, but he discovers that her true identity is Gu Qing Yan, the daughter of his enemy. The story revolves around Kanzuki Shizuku, a young man who was estranged from his father, a world-famous wine critic. When his father passed away, he left behind a wine collection worth a fortune, but in order to inherit it, Shizuku must solve a series of puzzles left by his father to identify 6 wines. His competitor was Tomine Issei, a prominent wine critic, whom his father adopted before his death.

Set in the Shanghai Shores at the beginning of the 20th century, where warlords begin to seize their powers; many heroes emerge, and revolutionary movements begin to rise. Making use of their wealth, the influential Rong family often abused their powers to commit various heinous crimes.

Matsuoka plays the role of Ogure Teppei, a 35-year-old policeman who dreams of being promoted to the First Investigation Division. One day, he suddenly slips back in time to 22 years earlier, at the height of Japan’s economic bubble. There, he meets his optimistic 13-year-old self (played by Tanaka Taketo). In order to help himself find the job and life that he hoped for, he has his younger self try out different kinds of work. It is said that more than 15 jobs will be presented in the drama. Yokoyama plays a Tokyo University graduate who looks up to Teppei as an older brother. Kiritani plays a college student who works as a special teacher for prep school. Other cast members include Fubuki Jun and Furuta Arata.

Shotaro Taguchi is a newly recruited attorney. As part of a new "school lawyer system", he is sent a middle school. There he encounters an angry student’s guardian who came to complain about her daughter's corporal punishment. The guardian threatens to sue the school but Taguchi kicks the person out from school. A few days later, the corporal punishment issue develops to an unexpected situation. The guardian sents a document with the student's homeroom teacher Mochizuki signature, admitting to using corporal punishment on the student.

The story talks about a pair of lovers who meet again after 2000 years as a time messenger and a girl who lost her memories. They accidentally sign an agreement and goes on a search for their memories and recalls their vows thousands of years ago.

Kakei Shiro is a 45 year old lawyer who works at a small law firm. He is a good cook and a meticulous and thrifty person who keeps the monthly food budget to 25,000 yen. Shiro’s daily routine is to leave work on time and head to a discount supermarket nearby. His partner Yabuki Kenji is the affable hairdresser in his 40s. The two of them share a two-bedroom apartment and the finer points of two men living together comes up at the dining table every day. Although the two of them have been in a relationship for three years and Shiro's parents know he is gay, Shiro never shares the fact that he is gay or Kenji is his partner to anyone.
