Nezu Haru, a third-year student at the University of the Arts, is studying video production. This is his first time making a film as a director, but he is having trouble deciding what the subject should be.

Yoshikawa Kazuya, who works as a photographer at the same time and is concerned about Haru's situation, receives a "Motus" notification on his smartphone. "Motus" is a smartphone app that posts real photos without filters, and Haru is not interested in it at all, but a post from his junior, Usui Miyako, shows Haru's girlfriend, Kuga Yuri, having an affair with another man.

Tajimage Shu happens to meet Bessho Fumiyo, a former high school senior, by chance. He is a popular guy with many girlfriends. But he has to end these relationships out of necessity. After hearing his story, Fumiyo unintentionally mutters that this situation is exactly like Dazai Osamu’s unfinished novel 'Goodbye'. Tajimage is moved by the queer coincidence.

The play takes the unfavorable phenomena of modern society as the story theme, and uses the honest and fair, not clinging to the powerful, who is known as "Bao Qingtian" and "Bao Gong" as the narrative method to judge the case of Bao Zheng, who has always been serious in previous film and television works. It is a form of art criticism and education for modern unhealthy phenomena.

Set in the fictional Eastern Liang dynasty, circus performer Ye Ningzhi’s (He Hongshan) troupe enters the palace and stages a performance to celebrate the empress dowager’s birthday. The ambitious grand princess (emperor’s sister) decides to cause mischief by framing her for treason, though the heroine is saved by strategist Wei Guang (Xu Zhengxi), and falls in love at first sight with him.

When Ye Ningzhi enters the palace two years later as the empress’ maid, she stands up for her fellow servants, and refuses to sacrifice her conscience in the face of power. Ye Ningzhi also works together with Wei Guang to crush the grand princess’ plan to usurp the throne, and catches the eye of the emperor in the process.

Go Cheok Hee and So Jeong Woo once worked together at a law firm; she was a divorce lawyer, and he was her office manager. She treated him like her inferior, while he constantly irked by pointing out her mistakes and calling her "Chucky" behind her back. But Cheok Hee is so ambitious, so determined to win every case for her clients, that her unethical misdeeds catch up to her, causing her license to be suspended.

Meanwhile, Jeong Woo studies and gets his law degree. Years later, they end up working together again for a different law firm. But this time, the tables have turned: he's the divorce lawyer, and she's the office manager. And Jeong Woo relishes getting his petty revenge.

Chiaki has now been promoted to the position of Deputy Director in the drama production arm of JMT. Her job now is to guide and coach the younger staff under her. She especially recognises the talents of scripwriter Mariko and the assistant producer Mitsui. On the other hand, back in Kamakura, Wahei is bearing the brunt of the failure in getting Kamakura to be officially recognised as a World Heritage site. He now has additional responsibilities of managing the secretarial department too. He is also being marked by the new mayor, Isayama Yoko, and is told to not cause any more trouble to the City Hall management.Shinpei has converted the ground floor of their home into a small cafe, and his relationship with Tomomi is going smoothly. While Wahei's other sister, Noriko, is suspecting her husband of having an affair, and she seeks advice from both Wahei and Chiaki. Wahei's daughter, Erina is now dating a man one year older than her, Harada Souta. Erina introduces Souta and his mother, Harada Kaoruko to Wahei.One day, Wahei is told to go to France with the city mayor, due to some news from Kamakura's sister city there. Coincidentally, Chiaki also has to go to Paris, as they are facing a problem with an ongoing drama, and she needs to clarify some details with the original writer who is living there.

It tells an inspirational story that happens between Yin, a diligent Shuining Beast, and Gu Jin, son of the true God, whose magic power was sealed. They met each other by accident and have embarked on the journey to find Feng Yin's Immortal Essence since then. In company with their friends including Hong Yi, a fox from the Demon Clan, and Yan Shuang, the Princess from the Eagle Clan, they fight against the odds to collect Feng Yin's Immortal Essence along the way.
