A story that follows a woman living in the city who learns to depend on herself and ultimately finds success in love and life.

Yuan Meihua used to be part of a loving family. In order to take care of her daughter and her mother-in-law, she resigns from her job. However, an incident brings about a life-altering change that pushes their family to the brink of collapse. In spite of Meihua's efforts, her marriage ends in divorce. The hardships do not deter Meihua as she starts on another road with the help of her good friend Cheng Youxin and their business partnership also brings about a new romance.

It follows Kanda and Fukumaru as they experience the joys of living together and learning about each other.

The clinic is full of beautiful women, including the director Yukawa Mari, who is well known for her skills in breast reconstruction, a highly-trusted doctor Ichii Mutsumi, and a cheerful nurse Kishitani Aoi. But most of them have already had some work done to their faces, and they strongly believe that “faces are for lives.”

Various types of patients visit this clinic. As Minetaro needs to keep this job to continue paying off the debt, he has no choice but to respond to the patients' selfish requests, such as, “I need my previous face back because my husband suspects that I may cheat on him now that I have a surgically-altered, young-looking face,” or “I want to change my face and look different from my twin sister.” But their wishes makes him wonder...If they change their appearances, will their futures become brighter? Will their worries disappear?

“Beauty” is the keyword set in this human drama, depicting the true feelings of women through the eyes of a surgeon who isn't attuned to reading a woman's mind.

Season 2 of “A-TEEN” will focus on the changes in the lives of the lead characters as they approach the ages of 18 and 19 (by Korean reckoning). The show will realistically showcase the conflicts and worries the characters will have ahead of what seems like the greatest hurdle in their lives—the college entrance exam. It will also realistically display the many choices they will make in the process of preparing for the exam.
