Arang and the Magistrate tells the story of a cynical and not so friendly government official named Eun Oh who wanders the whole nation to look for his mother who disappeared because of his mistake. Eun Oh has the ability of seeing ghosts, so he's used to be bothered by many kind of ghosts. As a result he isn’t afraid of ghosts anymore.

Then Eun On meets a virgin ghost named Arang. Before she became a ghost, Arang was a beautiful girl who was murdered. Arang asks Eun Oh to seek vengeance for her death and Eun Oh tries to appease her request.

Inference Notes (推理笔记) is the drama version of thriller film out not so long ago featuring Chen Dou Ling and Lin Bo Hong. The drama version has Hou Ming Hao, Zhang Zi Feng, and Wang Duo. The story revolves around our students and leading the group is a mathematical genius played by Zhang Zi Feng and Ming Hao takes on the other half of her partner-in-crime status. After receiving a heart transplant, she begins getting entangled in murder mysteries within and around the school, which is the tip of something darker and more sinister – organ trafficking.

It is positioned in the lowest section of the Metropolitan Police Department and so-called as the “oversized garbage dealer”. Ukyo Sugishita is the head of this Tokumei Gakari. Ukyo is very independent and with smart insights investigates on his own, he solves a lot of crimes assigned to Criminal Division of MPD, who dislike his interference. Ukyo's present partner is detective Tooru Kai assigned to the Team by the Assistant Comissioner of NPA, Mineaki Kai, his father.

The plot revolves around a guy named Song Xiao Lei (Alan Luo) who just had a bad break up and lost his job. With the help of his friend Hua Qiang (Ao Quan), he decides to start a new life, including finding a new home. Xiao Lei somehow ends up living in an apartment with Hu Li Li (Mao Jun Jie), Li Mei Dai (Emma Wu), and Bai Jing Jing (Zheng Luo Qian), three girls with different personalities.
