Season 2 of the popular webdrama Medical Examiner Dr. Qin.

The new season will be lead by Liu Dong Qin as the genius forensic expert, Liu Chang as the rugged policeman and Yu Sha Sha as the trusty assistant.

In 1990, Jiang Zhongshi becomes a temp at a machinery factory after losing his chance to enter military school due to his father being implicated for committing economic crimes. Yuan Xiaoxia's father who was also affected by the Jiang's family problems dies unexpectedly.

Four years later, Jiang Zhongshi and Yuan Xiaoxia cross paths at the machinery factory. When it comes to work, they are willing to set aside their grievances to remain professional. After 20 years of arduous exploration, the technical know-how and production experience of the hardworking individuals at the factory allow them to make a breakthrough in the research and development of CNC machine tools. The restructured Liangchuan group has now become a glorious member of China's "smart" manufacturing.

While investigating an ancient panting that has been stolen, Luo Jian who heads the criminal investigation team crosses paths with genius university student Zhuang Wenjie who is from a family of thieves. The unlikely pair work together to crack the case.

The story follows two people, Jade and Chin, who have lived over a thousand lifetimes, and in each one they somehow manage to fall in love with each other.

The novel is an adaptation of the same name novel written by Gu Man (顾漫), who will also be contributing to the script writing.
