Asahiyama Zoo in Hokkaido is the northernmost zoo in Japan. It was once in danger of being shut down but overcame this crisis. The leader of the zookeepers, Sakauchi Zen (Yamaguchi Tomomitsu), has become the zoo’s director. He works hard towards the construction of a new giraffe enclosure. On the other hand, the zookeepers Izumi Sawako (Toda Erika) and Nakagawa Shinichi (Koide Keisuke) privately have worries while being swamped with their job of raising animals. Sawako, who is in charge of the popular red pandas, sees signs of a pregnancy, but cannot feel genuinely happy. Having been present at the deaths of animals countless times in the past, she has developed a fear of witnessing the life and death of animals. Nakagawa, who has been appointed the leader of the breeding staff, even has strong ideas about the current state of the zoo. A part of him cannot agree with Sakauchi on the construction of the giraffe enclosure too. Veteran zookeeper, Makihara Yuichiro (Ito Shiro), who has known the zoo since the time it opened, cannot make up his mind about his own retirement. To compound matters, a flamingo escapes from the zoo. Sakauchi sets a trap which makes use of the flamingo’s behaviour, but the flamingo is killed by a wild fox. Nakagawa opposes Sakauchi’s decision which sacrificed an animal. Confidence in the zoo also plummets. Meanwhile, Okamura Tetsu (Joshima Shigeru), who has been an elementary school janitor for many years, comes as a zookeeper in a personnel reshuffle. Poor with both people and animals, Okamura is given the task to rear the zoo’s oldest animal, the hippopotamus, by Sakauchi. Okamura is uncomfortable with a job which does not have a manual. However, he takes Makihara’s advice and gradually becomes concerned about the hippopotamus more than anyone else. The new enclosure is completed. A young hippopotamus also arrives. These appear to be positive signs for the zoo. Then one day, a terrible sight unfolds before Okamura

This series is about Fahsai and her mother living with her father and her brother on the coast. Fahsai ends up working for the hotel and spa nearby, and the owner Ekarin starts liking her as a daughter. Farhad and Mahi hail from completely different economic and cultural backgrounds. After the wedding in Lahore, Mahi returns home, But to her surprise Farhad joins her after a while in order to win her heart and to know if she reciprocates his feelings. Farhad becomes part of the working crew as a guard when he finds out Mahi hails from a very rich and influential family. Not only can he not talk with her and he can’t even see her. Another female servant, Sajal, who works there, falls in love with him, but he rejects her. Farhad doesn’t mention his intention with his close friend that he becomes with while staying there. Mahi is getting married to another Rich person and Farhad can not bear the news. He tries to talk with her, but Mahi continuously rejects him. He isn't able to take the rejection. According to Farhaad, he can reject others, but a girl can't reject him. Although Mahi has already rejected him, he continues to disturb Mahi and make her guilty for not reciprocating his love. Mahi starts to think about him due to her guilt. Farhad is getting ready to leave the place after Mahi tries to break his heart by telling him that she needs a rich guy when infact she wanted to save his life from her family out of humanity. Turns out Farhad fell under the train and is now dead. The news have been broken to the family. But little do they know while they are getting ready for Mahi’s wedding Mahi faints to the news. Mahi’s nikkah and ruksathi take place but during the wedding procession, Taimoor is shot on the way to Multan and dies. Mahi is eventually persuaded to marry Taimoor's elder brother, Sikandar. This is the start of Farhad's curse and Mahi will now lead a life of trials and tribulations.

Sarumaru Yataro, nicknamed "Saru" is an average guy in his 20's who daydreams about idols but otherwise has no luck with women (due to the fact that he's extremely perverted). His father abandoned him at a young age and his mother passed away while he was in high school. He took over his father's shop and became a locksmith. While working at his fathers locksmithing business, Saru uses his genius-like lock picking skills to help people and to take on dangerous cases. There are a lot of perverted jokes in this drama but no nudity. Each episode will keep you laughing and laughing till you burst!

Everything is but mere borrowed moments of love and life. And two generations struggle to fight for their share of both in this lifetime. Can best friends maintain their close ties through life’s trials and tribulations, especially when they fall in love with the same man?
