Set in a small restaurant in the corner of a shopping district. The unusual eatery is only open after midnight, and its standard menu consists of just a single choice. Television news reports that a young woman has been kidnapped and her belongings sent individually to her family. Zaizen Shota, the CEO of Zaizen Corporation, recalls an eerily similar case from 18 years ago. Then, as an investigator at a private detective agency, a man called Tanioka Soichiro asked him to find his daughter, Tanioka Nanae. In that case, Nanae's kidnapper also sent photos and cuttings from her dress, underwear, and nails to Tanioka.

As a result of Zaizen's tampering in the Tanioka case, a suspect was never caught. Now Zaizen’s beloved daughter Mika goes missing and he too receives pieces of her belongings.

Meanwhile, Zaizen's wife and Mika's mother, the beautiful Yuko, is anxiously holding on to a secret that she cannot tell anyone.

As Zaizen investigates Mika’s disappearance on his own, he begins to learn about Yuko’s past while his life spirals out of control.

Capt. Ronnajak Jutathep, eldest son of M.R. Ronnaphee, is entrusted with his deceased friend’s younger sister, Sunida. When he enrols Sunida at his alma mater, he runs into a former classmate, Jaipisut, who is now a teacher. Jaipisut barely tolerates Ronnajak, as she has no good childhood memories of him because of his teasing; but the two are forced to play nice together when Sunida has problems at school. Building a friendship with your arch-nemesis is never easy. Theirs is far more complicated when Jaipisut finds out she is adopted, and from the heirloom brooch left by her birth mother, she might be a Dhevaprom. Will Jaipisut’s connection to the Dhevaprom prove too much for Ronnajak to overcome, or will the two realise that what they have is worth fighting for?

Khwanphon, a modern high school teacher, doesn't believe in long-term relationships or even love. She leads a secret lifestyle, enjoying one-night stands without any commitments. However, she finds herself involved with three different men: Kornkit, a gentlemanly figure who is the son of the school owner where Khwanphon works; Time, a colleague who has been pursuing her for a long time but has never been reciprocated; and Mac, a playboy who desires more than just one-night stands with Khwanphon. The story becomes complicated when Khwanphon decides to marry one of the three men. However, her turbulent past catches up with her, leading to unexpected consequences.

Japan's emergency medical care system suffers from a severe labor shortage. Overtime work per doctor in emergency medical care rises, with a lack of experienced doctors being the cause of the problem. Night time emergency medical care is worse than daytime.

The Hakuoukai Asahi Kaihin Hospital, which is a hospital branch of the Hakuoukai Group, starts a reform of the emergency medical care system at their hospital. They create a night doctor system. The night doctor is an emergency medical team that only works during night duty. Thanks to this system, the shift system is abandoned and the hospital is able to appropriate care 24 hours a day.

Asakura Mitsuki, Naruse Akihito, Fukazawa Shin, Sakuraba Shun and Takaoka Yukiho are members of the night doctor team. These five doctors differ in personalities and age, but, under the motto of never refusing a patient, they begin their work.

There is a common Korean belief that anything plus nine (gu in Korean) is always "cursed" and brings about more hardship than usual, including the ninth year of every decade in one's life. Gu Gwang Soo is 39 years old. He was once the brilliant PD of the nation's top live music program. But his fall from grace occurs when members of an indie band he'd cast drop their pants onstage and flash the entire country during a live broadcast (based on a real-life incident on MBC in 2005). Gwang Soo often thinks about his ex-girlfriend Joo Da In who suddenly broke up with him one day and left him heartbroken. When they meet again, she is a single mother whose life revolves around her young daughter.

Kang Jin Gu is 29 years old. He has two younger brothers, Min Gu and Dong Gu. Jin Gu is a tour planner for a large vacation travel agency, and he's popular, self-assured and carefree. Jin Gu falls into a one-sided love for the first time in his life when he confesses his feelings to his friend and co-worker Ma Se Young, but she tells him that she likes someone else, and he doesn't know how to deal with being friend zoned.

Kang Min Gu is 19 years old. He is a hot-tempered high school senior and judo athlete. Min Gu dreams of going to his dream college on a judo scholarship, which means giving his all to win a gold medal in his competitive matches. Min Gu keeps running into a cute but mysterious girl named Han Soo Ah all over town, and he decides that they're fated to be together. But Soo Ah has the entire district's high school boys swooning over her.

Kang Dong Gu is 9 years old. He is a child actor who got famous doing food commercials because of his healthy appetite. Dong Gu suddenly feels threatened when, for the first time ever, he loses a job to a new rival child actor and finds himself in a career slump. The precocious Dong Gu has also been secretly dating 8-year-old child actress Jang Baek Ji for the past two years, but she dumps him for his rival.
