Yang Guang is the manager of a small interior decorator company. He only wants to make a living and take good care of his relatives. However, his over tolerance of his family caused major issues. He then joins a larger company and becomes a project manager there where he meets the talented designer Chen Xi. Yang Guang and Chen Xi belong to two worlds completely. They dislike each other initially because of a misunderstanding. When they start working together, they unexpectedly find they sync well. After working together to create a high-quality project, they overcome prejudice and become partners. The difficulties and setbacks in the industry have not defeated the principles and bottom line of the two people, but make them more determined, and strive to create the "ideal house" for customers. In this process, they truly understand the meaning of "home". With their unremitting efforts, their careers ascend further, and love blossoms.

A wave of gruesome murders is sweeping Tokyo. The only connection is a bloody X carved into the neck of each of the victims. In each case, the murderer is found near the victim and remembers nothing of the crime. Detective Takabe and psychologist Sakuma are called in to figure out the connection, but their investigation goes nowhere. An odd young man is arrested near the scene of the latest murder, who has a strange effect on everyone who comes into contact with him. Detective Takabe starts a series of interrogations to determine the man's connection with the killings.

This series tells the stories of desperate people who come by to eat a magical dish with the hopes of having their personal wishes granted, even at the expense of their own souls.
