Mizushima Satoru is a designer, who prefers traditional things like handmade items and handwritten works. One day, he happens to meet a mysterious woman, Miharu Miyuki, at the cafe named Piano. She seems to have similar values to him and he is attracted to her. Mizushima Satoru asks for her cellphone number, but she doesn’t own a cellphone. They make a promise to meet at the cafe every Thursday. Since then, Mizushima Satoru & Miharu Miyuki meet every Thursday and their relationship develops romantically. Mizushima Satoru decides to propose her, but, on the day he is going to propose her, Miharu Miyuki doesn’t show up at the cafe.

In the year 2194, mysterious beings, known as the Gamilons, suddenly appear from outer space. The Gamilons drops meteor bombs upon Earth and kill most of the inhabitants. Susumu Kodai (Takuya Kimura) is a former army pilot now retired. This affected his income because it caused his video views to drop. Later, he comes up with the plan to do content closer to the community. There, he meets the young writer Anna, a rising star named Brownies, and their manager who is his fan. At first, Anna and Sun don't get along but later Anna realizes Sun has an interesting secret. She tries to investigate Sun for her writing. After many obstacles, Anna finds out everything about Sun and helps him to learn the advantage of his powers. Soon, they start to have feelings for each other.
