A series of murders occurred in Yunyin Town, causing panic among the people. They decided to hold a grand ceremony in honor of the River God to pray for peace. Physician Tao Ran was assigned to investigate the serial murders. While solving the cases with his apprentice, Tao Ran accidentally saved a little fox named Hua Zhi, who witnessed one of the crimes and also made friends with the heavy-drinking wandering sorcerer, Mr. Xiao, and together, they joined forces to crack the case.

A mysterious creature destroys 70% of the moon. The creature then warns that if he is not destroyed by March of next year, Earth will be next. The creature also demands that he becomes the homeroom teacher for 3rd grade E class at Kunugigaoka Junior High School. The government is powerless to say no.

The creature then becomes the homeroom teacher of 3rd grade E class which consists of failed students including Nagisa Shiota. The creature is called Teacher Koro.

Meanwhile, the government requests that the students try to kill Teacher Koro even though he possesses super powers. The government offers a 10 billion yen reward for whomever successfully kills him. The students are confused by the situation, but decide to kill Teacher Koro.

When their class begins with Teacher Koro, the students finds themselves having a good time with their new teacher.

"Venus Talk" follows three female friends who are all in their 40's.Shin-Hye (Uhm Jung-Hwa) works as a producer for a cable TV station and she is still single. Shin-Hye gets pissed, because they dated for 6 years and she even supported him before his promotion to a director. Shin-Hye and some of her co-workers meet afterwork for drinks. A loud argument takes place with everybody but Shin-Hye and her younger colleague Hyun-Seung (Lee Jae-Yoon) left to drink alone. They end up spending the night at a motel. Shin-Hye looks back at that night as a one night stand, but Hyun-Seung thinks about it differently.Mi-Yeon (Moon So-Ri) is a housewife who at first seems content with her life. Before she married Jae-Ho (Lee Sung-Min), she stipulated that they should have sex 3 times a week. Jae-Ho finds it harder and harder to satisfy his wife. Set in freezing Japanese winter, Koroshi (=killing/film noir in Japanese) is a quite typically Japanese movie, first and foremost inspired by Melville and to a lesser extent by fellow countryman Takeshi Kitano. The main character is a normal Japanese worker who is now unemployed - a fact he hides from his wife by spending his day at a gambling hall and making "salary payments" to himself. One day he is contacted by a mystery man who offers him a job as a contract killer. The job is easy, just shoot at the neck, never look in the eyes. And then: run. The man accepts this and soon finds new meaning and joy in life... The movie is absurd, and a thoroughly original take on the morale in Japanese society. The images are beautiful, and the people are as cold as the snow that surrounds them. The take on Melville's "Samoraï" from -67 is obvious, but Kobayashi turns the image around and portrays the killer as the weakest person in the movie - haunted by his demanding wife and the moaning contractor, who is one of the most mysterious characters ever portrayed in a movie. Perhaps the sound is the most masterful feature of this film. The humming of the wind power stations and the creaking sound of snow under boots leaves you chilled and muted. I left 'Koroshi' freezing, but I can't wait to get back in.
