The drama is based on the same-titled manga which showcases a very unorthodox hero that uses every dirty little trick to resolve the open cases. Kurokouchi Keita is the black sheep of the police force. He works alone, and doesn't think twice about extorting money from the dirty politicians by getting hold of their achilles heels. Using the money and whatever bits of information acquired through underhanded means, he gets closer and closer to the ultimate unresolved crime of the Showa era; the 300 million bank heist. One day, the new rookie Seike Mayo, is assigned as Kurokouchi's partner. Excellent, but naive, she is the exact opposite of Kurokouchi, but nonetheless, the duo combi relentlessly chase down the criminals.

A programmer from the 2045 was accused of murdering of a young man. In his quest to clear his name, his discovered the perpetrator not only shared his face and his name, he committed the crime over 30 years ago. He traveled back in time to stop his doppelganger and a woman from a photo in 2015 may be the key to track the man down.

Jin Ki Joo will take the role of Lee Bit Chae Woon, a hot-tempered, ambitious, and perseverant installer at an interior design shop. She’s always wary of her surroundings because she has always had to care for her gullible mother Lee Soon Jung from a young age. Her final goal is to become a textile designer.

On the other hand, Lee Jang Woo will play the role of architect Woo Jae Hee. He’s a straightforward man who gets angry easily, and at the same time, he’s described as handsome, smart, and so overly confident that he is often seen as arrogant. His father is Woo Jung Hoo (Jung Bo Suk), the CEO of a large corporation, but the two never got along, so Woo Jae Hee started living independently ever since college.

Woo Jae Hee and Lee Bit Chae Woon will meet at the site of a house under remodeling, and from the very beginning, they will bicker about their respective fields of expertise. The two characters will also end up living at Samkwang Villa, and they each have completely different attitudes about it. Whereas Woo Jae Hee likes the warm affection of this place and easily adjusts to the family-like atmosphere, Lee Bit Chae Woon wants nothing more than to put down the weight of being the head of the family and escape the villa. As they encounter each other at home and work, their chemistry will grow and develop into romance.

Tamanna and Dhruv love each other, but just before the flight to London with Dhruv, Tamanna disappears. The whole story revolves around how Dhruv investigates the matter just for an answer.

The story follows Sulwon as he takes over his parents' apartment as the owner and the quirky tenants who live there and romance with one of them.

Later on, he compiles his observations of the disaster-hit area as a psychiatrist into a book, and wins a prize for social sciences. He sees this as a positive sign. However, one day when he is 39, he discovers that he has cancer.
