It's the graduation season again in Shanghai's Lujiazui Financial City. Tao Wu Ji, a young man from a small town, was admitted to the Pudong branch of a bank. During their research, they learn that other people that knew their grandfather view him as a coward. Their grandfather believed life was the most important thing. He was also a talented pilot during the war.

Through their search, Keiko and Kentaro become confused on why their grandfather Kyuzo Miyabe boarded the Zero fighter plane and lost his life, even though he desperately wanted to come back home alive to see his daughter. Keiko and Kentaro begin to learn the truth.
