Shot in black and white, "Walking at Night", directed by Kim Jong Kwan, recounts the sorrowful story of two former lovers who go for a walk in the man's dream, reminiscing on their love and saying things they do not have the chance to in real life.

Li Jishi, a descendant of well-known doctor Li Shizhen from Ming Dynasty who runs a herbal restaurant, meets Luo Mingyi who claims to have come from Ming Dynasty, and she brings along Bi Zheng, a Brocaded Robe Guard. The murderer then calls the investigation headquarters. The murderer introduces himself as Toremi. Toko Kisaragi becomes Toremi's negotiator. While giving hints about the murder, Toremi also ridicules and provokes the detectives. Toremi then calls and announces a second murder. The second victim is found and that person is also cemented.
