There, what the survivors witness is an absolute upper and lower world divided by the value of human life. In a world far removed from the utopia, Asuha, Kanae, and the others, torn apart between the "Tower" and the "Under," find themselves entangled in the final battle over Utopia. Eventually, they reunite, but this time as adverseries.
