    "The Coming Through" (Chinese title translates to Miracle's Daughter (奇蹟的女兒)) is a Taiwanese historical mini-series, adapted from famous Taiwanese author Yang Qing-Chu's (楊青矗) novel "The Factory's Ring of Daughters" (工廠女兒圈). Yang Qing-Chu is a pioneer of the Taiwanese native literature movement (臺灣鄉土文學), his works often portray the lives of the proletariat. The story describes Taiwan in the 70s, when it's economy is beginning to take off, and the daily pains of the Taiwanese workers. The mini-series receives substantial critical acclaim in Taiwan. It was first broadcast on 16th Jun 2018, on Taiwan Public Television Service Foundation (公共電視臺).

    Sayama Taku is a doctor and runs Sayama Kodomo Clinic, which specializes in child psychiatry. Even though his family owns a general hospital, he refuses to get involved in their general hospital. Instead, Sayama Taku has taken over the small clinic, located in the suburbs, which his aunt operated. His family views his behavior as an act of betrayal. Sayama Taku's personal reason for running the clinic is because he has ASD (autism spectrum disorder) and he understands the patients at his clinic more than anyone. He values the time he has to face the child patients.

    Tono Shiho is a medical intern at Sayama Kodomo Clinic. When she worked as a medical intern in the pediatrics department of a university hospital, she kept getting into trouble and her preceptor finally told her to give up on becoming a pediatrician. Making things worse, she learned that she has ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder). She thought about giving up on becoming a doctor. At that time, Sayama Taku reached out to her and let her work at his clinic.

    Qian Guo Ji is set in the continent of Xia Zhou and revolves around dynastic changes that spans a thousand years. Luo Xi and Le Xue meet young emperor Qin Shang (Gao Taiyu) of Qi. Being pursued by Qin Shang's army, Luo Xi manages to return to the present at the most crucial moment. She brings back Qin Shang with her and realizes that Le Xue has been left inside the book.

    Similar encounters bring Luo Xi and Shang Qin back to the past only to return with Emperor Rong Yu (Liu Zhaohong) of An and Emperor Guo Yan (Gao Jicai) of Chen. Each time, Le Xue remains trapped inside the book. Luo Xi starts to discover Shang Qin's kind and caring side beneath his domineering exterior but she worries that the time will come when he must return to his world. Just when she decides to live in the moment, the real mastermind springs into action from behind the scenes.
