In the late 1970s, in a small alley of a cotton spinning factory's residential area in Suzhou, lived the Zhuang and Lin families. As the college entrance examination resumed, Zhuang Chao Ying, a teacher, and his wife, Huang Ling, prioritized their children's exams as the family's top priority. First-year students draw lots to determine their peer mentors and, by a stroke of fate, Arm lands himself in the exclusive circle of "Perfect 10 Liners," a group comprising extraordinary students from various years, with Yipun as his second-year peer mentor. The story revolves around the cute and lively proprietress Su Xiao He who runs a pet shop on the banks of Qingshan Lake in Qingqiu Country Jiangzhou.
