First-year students draw lots to determine their peer mentors and, by a stroke of fate, Arm lands himself in the exclusive circle of "Perfect 10 Liners," a group comprising extraordinary students from various years, with Yipun as his second-year peer mentor. Yipun entrusts him with the formidable task of managing the Engineer Cute Boy page, a widely popular online platform. Despite his reluctance, Arm performs admirably as the page's administrator. In response to many fan requests, he uploads a photo of third-year civil engineering student Arc, unaware of the prohibition against doing so. Not knowing the admin's identity, Arc sends a harsh message demanding the photo's deletion. Detesting Arc's rudeness, he develops a dislike for Arc before learning that Arc is his third-year mentor. Despite his reservations, Arm finds himself interacting with Arc with some frequency, for mentorship and otherwise. What Arm doesn't know is that he's been let into Arc's inner circle because Arc was smitten with him at first sight. On his first day of university, disaster strikes Gun hard. Hapless as he is, Gun manages to break a bathroom faucet. Fortunately, a classmate comes to his rescue. Amidst the chaos, however, Gun doesn't get a look at his saviour's face, just catching a glimpse of their shoes. Eventually, he tracks the shoes to Faifa and expresses his gratitude. As they get to know each other, Gun realises it was actually Yotha, Faifa's older Irish twin who he should be thanking.

After a biological terrorist attack kills off the population of a Russian town; Japan's Public Safety Special Third unit, code name THIRD-i, believes that the terrorist organization responsible plans to unleash the same virus known as Bloody X into Tokyo. Subsequently, THIRD-i recruits the help of genius hacker Takagi Fujimaru to find out what happened in the Russia. However, as Fujimaru becomes involved, he soon finds out that he is in over his head and that the terrorist groups influence reaches not only his school but even the police. At the Threshold of an Era (Chinese: ???) was a Hong Kong epic drama series broadcast by TVB Jade Channel from October 11, 1999 to December 18, 1999 and March 13, 2000 to May 26, 2000, and was extensively promoted by TVB as its cross-milliennium, one-hundred-episode-long epic. The series composed of two parts, with a gap in between the airing.The entire series took place in a continuing flashback, with one of the main characters pondering the trials and tribulations he went through while riding on a train in the "green city" he developed.The drama documents the rise and fall of three entrepreneurs, who founded Lik Tien Century Construction (????) together to achieve the ultimate goal of developing a pollution-free city in Hong Kong. Vendetta and love serves as strong subplots throughout the series, with the vendetta between two families being the most prominent.The stories covered a span of 20 years, from 1990 to 2010, and featured many technologies that came to age during this time, including the nascent internet, and a bulkier tamaguchi virtual pet device (shown as a device similar to Game Boy in the series), which was developed by one of the entrepreneurs before his entry into construction.

The story opens with the failed uprising in 1927. Foshan Communist Party members Chen and his wife died tragically to provide cover for their comrades. Years later, their three children go on to make spectacular achievements in the field of Cantonese medicine, cuisine and opera to earn fame in all of Guangzhou, staying true to their intentions even in wartime.

Due to the drastic countermeasures against the revolutionaries in Guangzhou on April 15, 1927, CCP underground members Chen and his wife died heroically and their three children were adopted by ordinary people. The eldest son Chen Shan He becomes an apprentice of medicine, the second son Chen Qing Wei becomes a chef, and the youngest daughter Chen Li Xia becomes an opera performer. Under the tutelage of their respective masters, they become legends in their own fields.

Just as they are about to take revenge on the enemy who killed their parents, war breaks out in Guangzhou causing the fates of the three individuals to also change dramatically. Chen Shan He engages in a seven-year struggle with Japanese merchants to protect the secrets of traditional Chinese medicine. He also devotes everything in the deadly fight against Japan's biological weapons.

Chen Qing Wei refuses to betray his country so he leaves for Hong Kong to promote Cantonese cuisine. He returns to Guangzhou with a successful career and helps his brother in their efforts to save the people. Chen Li Xia leads the performance troupe during the war, continuing to improve her craft and learning to find a balance between their harsh reality and the beautiful world of opera. The three siblings adhere to their national integrity amidst the severe trials of war to pass on their respective skills.
