Sara Masaki is a detective of Investigation Team 1 at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. His colleague, Detective Saito Kota, dies during an investigation of a murder case. Afterward, Masaki is transferred to the Personnel Department 1 of the Inspection Division. He still suffers from the death of his colleague. The other workers around Masaki are hostile to him. One day, a letter reaches the personnel department. The letter claims that Detective Minaguchi Nako leaks secret information. Detective Nako used to work with Masaki Investigation Team 1. Masaki begins to investigate the claim in the letter. His investigation leads him to the unsolved case of the death of his colleague.

We open with the story of a noble couple in Rangsiya Palace. Hayami Keigo is a promising young heart surgeon at a university hospital, but is made to examine patients at a clinic in the mountains during summer on the orders of his superior. At a harsh environment 2,000 m above sea level, there is a very small quantity of testing equipment and medicine. It is a culture shock and setback for Keigo who is active in advanced medical care and the use of cutting-edge equipment. This is a place detached from modern medical care where doctors make all diagnoses by touching, looking at and talking to patients. Koyama Haruka was raised by parents who ran a mountain lodge, but when she was 5, her mother died in an accident on the mountains. That influenced her to become a nurse in Tokyo. However, one day, an incident prompts her to escape from Tokyo and return to the mountain lodge. It is the same time that Keigo arrives at the clinic.

Due to generational conflict and dissatisfaction, society has declined remarkably and the economy has also declined. Japan is about to collapse. Everybody points their finger at the other generation for causing their generation's unhappiness and misfortune. Prime Minister Naoki Ando then declares a battle titled "Sedai Wars" to decide the next president who will rule Japan. Representatives from each generation take part in the Sedai Wars, which is a battle royale set to take place in a VR space. This drama is based on a Japanese manga “カノジョはうそをあいしすぎてる” by Aoki Kotomi which was first published on 2009-May by Cheese! magazine. Kang Han Kyul (Lee Hyun Woo) is a great composer and gets inspired by the voice of others. He hides his identity from other people. Kang Han Kyul then meets Yoon So Rim (Joy). She is a female high school student with a great voice and she falls in love with him.
