First-year students draw lots to determine their peer mentors and, by a stroke of fate, Arm lands himself in the exclusive circle of "Perfect 10 Liners," a group comprising extraordinary students from various years, with Yipun as his second-year peer mentor. Yipun entrusts him with the formidable task of managing the Engineer Cute Boy page, a widely popular online platform. Despite his reluctance, Arm performs admirably as the page's administrator. In response to many fan requests, he uploads a photo of third-year civil engineering student Arc, unaware of the prohibition against doing so. Not knowing the admin's identity, Arc sends a harsh message demanding the photo's deletion. Detesting Arc's rudeness, he develops a dislike for Arc before learning that Arc is his third-year mentor. Despite his reservations, Arm finds himself interacting with Arc with some frequency, for mentorship and otherwise. What Arm doesn't know is that he's been let into Arc's inner circle because Arc was smitten with him at first sight. On his first day of university, disaster strikes Gun hard. Hapless as he is, Gun manages to break a bathroom faucet. Fortunately, a classmate comes to his rescue. Amidst the chaos, however, Gun doesn't get a look at his saviour's face, just catching a glimpse of their shoes. Eventually, he tracks the shoes to Faifa and expresses his gratitude. As they get to know each other, Gun realises it was actually Yotha, Faifa's older Irish twin who he should be thanking.

Continuing the plot of the first season, it follows the story of Zhong Wuyan who has given birth to a "freak" prince and King Qi imprisons her in the cold palace. Their relationship evolves from indifference to reconciliation until they find love again.

The Spring and Autumn Period and Warring States Period were a time rife with war and people struggled to survive. However, the King of Qi (Ren Donglin) has abandoned his duties while his Queen, Zhong Wuyan (Maggie Huang), has been thrown into the cold palace. As time passes, the King becomes more and more enamoured with Xia Yingchun (Liu Yongxi). He also misplaces his trust towards Wei Wenbin (Wei Peng), a surrendered general who was once an enemy.

As it turns out, Wei Wenbin and Xia Yingchun have been plotting a rebellion, and it is thanks to Zhong Wuyan's foresight that she was able to save King Qi. King Qi regrets his actions and releases Zhong Wuyan from the cold palace, but with her son still missing, the two can never truly reconcile. Meanwhile, Wei Wenbin and Xia Yingchun have not given up on their plan to destroy the state of Qi, even instigating the King of Chu to start a war. To save the people from another bloody battle, Zhong Wuyan commands an army to fight for her homeland.

Tosu Tetsuo never expected his daughter, Reika, to be a victim of domestic violence. Suspecting that her yakuza boyfriend, Matori Nobuto, is the perpetrator, Tetsuo decides to investigate him and his associates. But as he searches for evidence at Reika's apartment, the father learns that his daughter is not the first victim and that a worse fate awaits her.

When he is discovered by Nobuto, Tetsuo ends up killing him in the ensuing fight. Assisted by his wife, Tetsuo hides the body in fear of retaliation from the yakuza. To add to the misfortune of the Tosu family, Nobuto happens to be the son of the mafia's head. Considered to be prime suspects behind Nobuto's disappearance, Tetsuo and his wife will have to deploy all their ingenuity to protect their daughter from the yakuza and their ruthless investigation.

Ji Eun is the daughter of a wealthy chaebol family. She is bright, humorous, beautiful, and smart. Ji Eun meets Se Hoon, who runs a small furniture workshop. Unlike Ji Eun, Se Hoon comes from a poor family background. He was once the top student at a prestigious university, but he had to drop out due to his sick mother. Nevertheless, Ji Eun falls deeply in love with Se Hoon. She confesses her feelings to him. Se Hoon is also in love with Ji Eun, but he turns her down due to the extreme differences in their backgrounds. Eventually, Se Hoon is unable to bury his feelings any longer and they decide to marry. Ji Eun's father constantly interferes in their marriage and Se Hoon becomes tired of his father-in-law's meddling. Making things worse, Ji Eun experiences a miscarriage. She leaves Se Hoon shortly afterward.

10 years later, their lives have changed drastically. Ji Eun works as a housemaid and she struggles to support her family. She is also burdened by the debt left behind by her late father.

Meanwhile, Se Hoon as William Jang runs the successful U.S. cosmetic company Cosmetic Cherokee. He returns to South Korea.
