As a 24 year old woman, Ogata Makoto doesn't like to show her true self or draw attention to herself in her private life or when she is at work. This is because she doesn't want to be disliked. One night, Ogata Makoto has an accident. The accident causes her to lose memory about herself. She finds a male ring in her bag, but she doesn't remember who she was going to give the ring to. Soon, three men appear in front of Ogata Makoto and the ring fits perfectly on all three of the men. One of them proclaims himself as her ex-lover, one man claims to be her only male friend, and the other man claims to be her man of fate. Each of them have their own lies.

Kusakari Hotaru is married to Kusakari Goro and she works as a pharmacist. She holds a secret that she is really a ninja and part of Koka Ninja’s family. Her husband holds a routine job as a postal delivery man, but he has a secret as well. He is also a ninja and pat of Iga Ninja’s family. Even though Kusakari Hotaru and Kusakari Goro are a married couple, they are unaware their partner is a ninja. For generations, the Koka Ninja and Iga Ninja families have been rivals and quite hostile to each other. While Kusakari Hotaru and Kusakari Goro married because of love and their marriage life started off well, their relationship has deteriorated over things like home chores and using the bathroom. An assassination then takes place. Will Kusakari Hotaru and Kusakari Goro choose their marriage or their family affiliation?

The story revolves around two best friends, Mieko and Makio, who end up working a part-time job at the same place. At their new job, they meet a university student, Eiji, who ends up falling for Makio. Despite everyone around them being against the relationship, Mieko decides to watch over them as they grow, and their bonds and relationships gradually change.

High school girl Hayakawa Yui (Kuroshima Yuina) was sent back in time to 1560 during the Sengoku Period through a time machine built by her younger brother Takeru. She risked her own life to help out the Hagi clan and fell in love with Hagi Kuhachiro Tadakiyo (Ito Kentaro), the heir of the feudal lord Hagi Tadataka (Ishiguro Ken). Ouga’s true aim is to make Koyama and Hagi fight and capture the country. Tadakiyo leaves Yui behind and heads to the castle where the advance guard is in order to stop this senseless war. Yui tells his father that Tadakiyo believes it is true victory to live. She escapes from the Hagi clan’s stronghold and goes after him …

Kouno Etsuko loves fashion and dreams of working at the editorial department of the company which publishes the fashion magazine ‘Lassy’. She has been taking the employment exam for several years. However, she is constantly rejected because the editorial department has not been hiring for some time. Even so, Etsuko perseveres and goes for the interview every year to the extent that she is now a famous person in the company. One night a week later, Etsuko receives a phone call from the human resource department about a job offer and is overjoyed. And so, she heads to Lassy’s editorial department in high spirits on her first day of work. She is told that she has got the department wrong and is designated to the very unglamorous proofreading department, which checks for misspelling, missing characters, errors or inconsistencies in the content of manuscripts before these go to print. Furthermore, Morio Toyoko, her junior from high school days, is a fashion editor. Under the assumption that she had been assigned to the editorial department, Etsuko vehemently protests to Takehara Sho-on, the head of the proofreading department. Takehara tells her that she may be able to transfer to the department of her choice if her work here is recognised. So Etsuko decides to work hard at proofreading with the goal of transferring to the editorial department. Although she starts learning the basics of proofreading, she does not have sufficient knowledge of kanji. Her exasperated seniors find her unsuitable for the job of proofreading and Etsuko pours out her frustrations about her work to Toyoko and company receptionist, Imai Seishiru. Then Etsuko gets assigned to proofread the manuscript of popular leading mystery writer, Hongo Daisaku, because she is the only one in the department who is free. Dressed in flashy clothes, she enthusiastically tackles her first job, going beyond her proofreading work to get into actual locations to verify facts. She tries to do her job to perfection for a transfer to the editorial department, but her unorthodox approach to proofreading infuriates Kaizuka Hachiro, the editor in charge. Then Hongo asks to see the person who proofread his manuscript. Meanwhile, Toyoko is told by her editor, Kamei Sayaka, to look for candidates to be the magazine’s first exclusive male model. She scouts a guy called Orihara Yukito through photographs of handsome men she found on the internet. A fourth-year university student who intends to be a writer, Yukito flatly rejects Tokoyo’s invitation to be a model since he has no interest. At the same moment, Etsuko happens to encounter Yukito …

Despite Etsuko’s worries about the gap between her ideal job and reality, she dedicates herself to the work of proofreading in her own unique way and gradually starts to realise its allure.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department creates a new division which consists of 5 female detectives. The new division is called Higanbana which is a flower with a poison root. The 5 female detective have their own specialties and sensitivities. The women try to solve a murder that took place at the wedding of a female doctor.

Detective Nagisa Kinomiya is a member of Higanbana. She has the special ability of sensing a criminal’s murderous intent and ill will.

Ichiko is a 30-year-old unemployed woman. She meets Ryoichi at a drinking establishment. Even though he is a lot younger than her, she can't forget him. Meanwhile, Ichiko has 5 different characters in her brain that governs her actions. The 5 characters are Yoshida, Ishibashi, Ikeda, Hatoko, and Kishi. These 5 character then have a fierce meeting.

Yoshida presides over the meeting as the chairman. Ishibashi is the optimist. Ikeda is the pessimist. Hatoko is the character that lives in the moment and Kishi thinks about the past.

Yamashita Kotaro was living a peaceful life as a publisher part-timer aspiring to be a mobile phone novelist until two females suddenly appeared in his life. One is his six-year-old celebrity niece and the other is the little girl's stern manager. As he is forced to live under the same roof as the little prodigy, their differences soon manifest and disputes ensue.
