“Oasis” is set in the turbulent times of South Korea between the ’80s and ’90s. It depicts the fierce life, revenge, and conflict of young people who have to pursue power and wealth by any means in an era filled with wrong social values.

Lee Doo Hak is a young man who was born in a small city in Jeolla Province and grew up innocent with a clever brain. However, he fatefully becomes caught in a whirlpool of events and ends up in the middle of conflict. After going through a real estate fraud group, he becomes a “political gangster” and lives his life to avenge his father’s unjust death.

Veteran Engineer Choi Ban Seok is a developer with the consumer electronics division of Hanmyung Electronics. The main character, Tae-ho (Yoon Kye-Sang) starts out as a sharp fund manager who is expecting a massive payday to come in, only to have a deal go bad and ruin him and his partner, to the tune of many millions. They’ve got scary gangster investors clamoring for their money back and seemingly no way out, and Tae-ho’s partner kills himself in despair. Tae-ho is also feeling cornered and desperate after losing everything (becoming homelessness), but he vows to not let this bad deal kill him and works his way back. The story depicts the pecking order of the homeless people who live inside Seoul Station and the secret organizations among them. It’s an action-thriller about a hero who claws himself up from rock bottom to figure out what went wrong with his deal and get his life back

In 1972, the Vietnam war is coming to an end. CHOI Tae-in is plagued with feelings of guilt, losing all his men and being the sole survivor of a devastating battle. He is in the hospital recovering, but longs to return to his former unit. But the chief of the CID department orders him to lead an investigative scouting unit back in the thick of the jungle. Once again, the communication unit receives an unexplainable radio transmission from soldiers who were presumed missing and dead 6 months ago. CHOI Tae-in and his unit are sent to gather any clues as to the whereabouts of the missing unit. When the soldiers have moved on further into the jungle, the gravestone reveals its true message. "NO Return; He who sheds others' blood can not return."

The second season is set in even more turbulent times than the first; during the reign of Emperor Gojong, a period where every aspect of Joseon, from financial, military, and economic to the culture was spurred towards modernization. The chaos and confusion resulting from these rapid changes form the background for the crimes that occur, forcing the Byul Soon Geom to be reformed in order to investigate them. The team is led by Jin Moo Young and Han Da Kyung, two people with deep scars and burdens from their past.

Kyeong-Yoon (Kim Kang-Woo) and Eun-Ju (Kim Gyu-Ri) investigate a grisly murder of an affluent entrepreneur. The victim was slashed over 20 times and there’s blood everywhere in his apartment. When the police delve deeper into the victims’ background they discover that the two victims were stationed at the same military base many years ago. A month prior to their discharge they were transferred to another base along with a third man by the name Jay Bae. The police now believe Jay Bae could be the next victim or the killer. Their investigation has only just begun.

Mi-Jin is identified as the woman involved in a sexual relationship with a well known politician (Ahn Sung-Ki). The source of the leaks are completely unknown. Woo-Gon tries to explain that the tabloid rumors about his client are completely untrue, but nobody listens. A few days later, Mi-Jin is found dead in her apartment. Woo-Gon then decides to find those responsible for spreading the false rumors about Mi-Jin.

The police quickly take advantage of his disability and force him to admit to committing the crimes, while ignoring exonerating evidence. Yong Gu is imprisoned and assigned to Cell No. 7, the harshest cell in a maximum security prison.

Lan and two of her best friends are ordered by their seniors to get into an abandoned school building. Lan steps into a classroom in the abandoned building where a kid died without anyone knowing. The dead may not want to be alone and she can't leave the classroom.

Waikiki Brothers is a band going nowhere. After another depressing gig, the saxophonist quits, leaving the three remaining members - lead singer and guitarist Sung Woo, keyboardist Jung Suk, and drummer Kang Soo, to continue on the road. The band ends up at Sung Woo's hometown, Suanbo, which was a popular hot spring resort in the '80s. The main resort now is the Waikiki Hotel, and their gig at the hotel nightclub starts well, until Jung Suk and Kang Soo start to play out their worst vices.
