A story revolving around a forensic examiner and an intern as they engage in a deadly match with a high-profile criminal called Santa.

On Christmas Eve, three armed and dangerous men who work for Santa attack a forensic center to steal evidence. They kill the guards and violently kidnap two forensic examiners Chen Jia Hao and intern Qiao Lin. As they become suspicious of the identity of their captors and their real motives, Chen Jia Hao and Qiao Lin use their knowledge of forensics for a final showdown with the bad guys, even at the expense of their own lives.

When undercover agent Ding receives an encrypted message from Blackjack, who claims to be an undercover agent that has lost contact with the police, she reports it to her superior officer Inspector Q, who immediately launches a mission to search for Blackjack. While Inspector Q narrows down Blackjack's whereabouts, he learns of a finance group's involvement in a drug deal in Brazil which involves company chairman Kwok Ming, his advisor Lam, Lam's right-hand man Shiu and the supposedly dead triad leader Foon-hei, who is surprisingly alive and kicking, and is plotting a comeback to the crime world.

One day sergeant Yip takes a strange statement from a man who was caught peeping at ladies' room. The suspect claims some women plan to kill all men, and he was spying on them to collect the evidence. Later the statement disappears mysteriously, and when Yip tries to take another one, the suspect tells him altogether different thing. Yip gets intrigued and tries to sort this case out.

This movie about a guy called Eugene Wang that was released from jail of 20 years for rape and murder. So happened that after his release, another death incident took place, and because of his past the police suspects him for murder of the classical celebrity. If I tell you anymore about the story, I would be a spoiler. So to conclude, the movie is basically about police trying to solve the mysterious death of that celebrity, however during the investigations, some things happened.

An underground trading of the stolen weapon is due to take place in Hong Kong. Chinese envoy Song An, Hong Kong’s Counter Terrorism Response Unit Chief Inspector Lee Yin-ming and South Korean weapon expert Choi Min Ho are all gathered in Hong Kong on a mission to recover the weapon. Physics professor Siu Chi-yan joins the team as consultant. Beneath the shared goal of recovering the weapon, the three regions’ representatives are all armed with hidden agendas. Choi not only has to capture Helios and recover the weapon but needs to prevent the leaking of national classified information. Song has China’s interests in mind. And on top of resolving the unit’s biggest crisis since its conception, Lee and Siu have to grapple with the tension between the two countries. Although the Hong Kong police manage to capture Helios’s assistant and recover the weapon, a diplomatic dispute between China and South Korea on who owns the confiscated nuclear device is unleashed. Meanwhile, Helios pops up in Macau, determined to reclaim the weapon and avenge his earlier defeat. In the final showdown, no one is safe from the danger and conspiracies that lurk underneath.

After a sting operation goes bad, gunfire erupts on the streets of Hong Kong as police chase a group of suspects across town. Cheung tries to roust the criminals out from within, but is unable to single-handedly defuse the situation. Meanwhile, the police swarm around the building and set up a command center outside, led by ambitious and media-savvy Commissioner Rebecca Fong (Kelly Chen, Infernal Affairs), who seems more concerned about the swarm of video cameras and photographers than the criminals inside the building. Embarrassed by their earlier defeat, the police begin fighting a public relations war, anxious to repair their tattered image in the public eye. In order to portray the department in a favorable, decisive light, they begin feeding "punched-up" video clips to the media, carefully edited to show the police coming out on top in the conflict with the criminals, as they keep the press updated on every move they make. Unfortunately for the police, the bad guys need only to turn on their television and are immediately brought up to speed on every detail about the police activity, keeping one step ahead of the police at all times…
