Without any information about the criminal, except that the person will be in attendance, Detective Kosuke Nitta works feverishly to find the criminal among the 500 attendees.

Dako is able to master knowledge from various professions in a short period of time and disguises herself as someone working in that field. Along with Boku-chan and Richard, they carry their plans using fantastic teamwork.

Shikata Atsushi, Tadokoro Keita, and Kawabata Satoshi spent their childhood days as friends. As adults, they meet again due to a murder case. Atsushi works as a detective, Keita is a suspect and Satoshi is a victim. As they come face to face with the truth of the murder case, they must also confront their detested past, sealed within their minds until now.

The ZQN attack people with superhuman strength and their victims also become ZQN. Hideo Suzuki happens to meet a female high school student, Hiromi Hayakari. They run away from the city together, but Hiromi has been already bitten by a baby ZQN. The baby ZQN that bit her did not have teeth and Hiromi is in half state of ZQN. They then meet Nurse Yabu at a shelter. Yabu hopes she can draw an antibody from Hiromi.

Three Koda sisters, 29-year-old Sachi, 22-year-old Yoshino, and 19-year-old Chika live at their grandmother's home in Kamakura, Japan.

Once a year, on Christmas Eve, Cafe Telekinesis holds a real psychic party. At the party, psychics gather together to show off their abilities while for the rest of the year they hide their abilitties. Yone Sakurai (Masami Nagasawa) is a program director for a psychic variety TV show called "Asunaro Psychic". She is stressed out and tired from her work, but proud of what she is doing. Yone actually believes in psychic abilities. By an audience request a new plan is set out for the program, a plan which requires the show to uncover real psychics or psychic events. Yone is selected to find these people. Yone then goes on a nationwide search, but uncovers only fakes. As Christmas draws closer, Yone, a normally cheerful girl, becomes depressed. Her boss at the Tokyo station orders Yone back if she can't find a psychic. Before Yone ends her search she makes one last stop at Cafe Psychic on Christmas Eve! Can the psychics there, who all hate Yone's TV show, hide their abilities from Yone or will Yone finally get her program material?

Egami Mei is a genius surgeon, but is somehow still lacking. On the other hand, his younger sister Satsuki is poor at studying, but she has a good nature and a strength for living. High school student Hoshi Izumi (Nagasawa Masami) loses her father suddenly in an accident. The death of their former kumicho (Boss) puts Medaka Gumi on the verge of a breakup. Therefore, Sakuma begs Izumi, the former boss's only distant relative left, to succeed to the kumicho position. Izumi is taken by surprise and keeps refusing at first. However, she ends up becoming the 8th kumicho of the Medaka Gumi! The police tell her that her father's death may possibly be a homicide case. There's also Mayumi (Koizumi Kyoko), a mysterious woman staring closely at Izumi's father's photograph at his funeral. The situation becomes complicated when the drug-dealing vicious yakuza, Hamaguchi Gumi, comes into the picture as well as Sandaiji Hajime (Ogata Ken), a politician whose public stance is to eliminate drugs. --TBS

Detective Otonashi Tsukiko (Nagasawa Masami), who belongs to the First Investigative Division's Tannai team led by Tannai Ichio (Takenaka Naoto), is a geek with Toshi Densetsu mania. She claims that she became a detective to establish proof of Toshi Densetsu and dreams of officially announcing some day that Toshi Densetsu is involved in a case she investigated. When cases happen, she will always consider its associations with the manga. Because of that, the better part of the formal investigation would appear to be wrong. She feigns illness to slip out from work and stealthily proceed with her own investigation based on her theory that Toshi Densetsu is the cause. This angers Tannai every time.

Otonashi Tsukiko has returned from New York, it seems. The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) had set up a new unit called UIU (Unscientific incident Investigation Unit), and Tsukiko has returned from her assignment at the FBI to join this new unit.

His beloved deceased wife's daughter from her previous marriage is the Japanese girl and she arrives in Taiwan looking for her mom, and ends up living with her step father, who dreams of being a master baker but sucks big time at baking. The entire gang of misfits all live and work together, and heartwarming hilarity ensues.

The story revolves around two struggling comics, Takashi Komoto (Keisuke Koide) and Yohei Tanaka (Atsushi Ito), who have been performing together as a manzai comedy duo called “Boso Swimmers” for the past 12 years with very little success. The pair rarely discuss their concerns for the future together, even though they’re now 30 years old with little hope of making it big. Even so, they maintain their passion for comedy and start keeping an “exchange diary” as a way of communicating with each other more frankly.

Yuri Saotome is a charismatic beautician who runs a major sports gym and aesthetic salon. Along the way, Rokurota comes across Takezo (Jun Matsumoto) and Shimpachi (Daisuke Miyagawa), who have escaped from forced labor in a gold mine. Takezo and Shimpachi first frown on joining the journey, but eventually agree to help out in the hope of escaping Yamana's oppression and cashing in on the gold reward Rokurota offers them.

Last Friends tackles issues that afflict the current generation. Michiru's mother has brought a man back to their home and she is bullied at her workplace where she works as a beauty parlour assistant. She starts cohabiting with her boyfriend, a good young man who works at the Child Welfare Division and the only person who can give her emotional support, but ends up the victim of domestic violence and becomes fearful of love. The boyishly charming Ruka was a classmate of Michiru's in junior high school. She has performed brilliantly as a motocross racer and aims to win the national championship, but as the story progresses, a deep worry that she can neither confide in her parents or close friends grows evident. Takeru is a hair and makeup artist acquainted with Ruka. He is a good confidant to females due to his kindness and perceptiveness, and finds himself attracted to Ruka but has a phobia of sex as a result of a past trauma. The three of them become house mates and through their associations with others, gain the capacity to be positive about life.

"Say Hello for Me" is a love story and talks about three people's childhood friendship and their reunion after 15 years of separation.

The 45th NHK Taiga Drama is Komyo ga Tsuji.

Kazutoyo lived during the end of the Sengoku period (1546-1605). He was the first feudal lord of the fief of Tosa on the island of Shikoku. He served Nobunaga Oda, Hideyoshi Toyotomi and Tokugawa Ieyasu.

Chiyo (1557-1617) was his wife, and was known in history for her dedication and devotion to her husband (like Matsu was to Toshiie in Toshiie to Matsu). She is the daughter of a samurai who served the feudal lord Asai.

Ritsuko discovers an old cassette tape, while packing her things to move into a new apartment. She listens to the tape and hears the voice of a frail girl saying "I'm so afraid of tomorrow that I can't fall asleep. I think I'm going to die soon." Soon after, Ritsuko leaves a sparse note for her fiance Saku, "I'm going away for a while. Don't worry about me. - Ritsuko." During this time a Typhoon is approaching Japan and Saku watches the news at his friends bar. He spots his fiance walking in the background of a news report at the airport. He knows Ritsuko is going to her home town of Shikoku and Saku decides to go back there as well, the place where he grew up and first met Ritsuko and the girl on the tape.
