In the late 90's, Yae and Harumichi met and fell in love. After graduating from high school, Yae went off to college in Tokyo, while Harumichi joined the Self-Defense forces as an aviation student, and like that they separated. One day, Yae suffered a tragic accident, and 20 years passed without their lives intersecting again. Now, Yae works as a taxi driver and Harumichi has become an employee at a security company after serving in the Self-Defense forces, both in the same city. About 20 years after their unfulfilled first love, fate brings them together once again...

Toshi-chan and BB live in a hut with a blue sheet on the banks of the Tama River. Having lived there for several years, they are familiar with the area. The two of them gather cans across town from 4 am in the morning and sleep at 7 pm in order to save money on electricity at night. The movie is set in an aftermath of the sudden dispersal of a legendary town called "Mugen," and recounts the story of the five organizations, who aims to take control in the said area. A 30-year-old single detective (Nagase Tomoya), who is under the illusion that he is popular with females is called 'Unubore' by friends. He is an ultra romantic and susceptible to conceitedness. He has such a strong desire to marry to the extent that he has bought an apartment for his newlywed life. He falls in love with female criminals at first sight each time. While the sheer desire to meet wraps around him, he will get proof that the female is the culprit. And so, he will thrust both the arrest warrant and marriage papers at her, proposing with the words, "If you marry me, I won’t arrest you." If that still does not work, he will hold out an engagement ring and his handcuffs. In the end, the criminal will choose to be arrested and his heart will be broken. He will cry as he puts the handcuffs on her.

The sequel to "The Rainbow Seeker (Niji O Tsukamu Otoko)" directed by Yoji Yamada. The two main caracters, Katsuo and Ryo restartes working together for a movie theater. Set in Southern Japan, the film follows their pursuing their dreams and love.

Chiaki has now been promoted to the position of Deputy Director in the drama production arm of JMT. Her job now is to guide and coach the younger staff under her. She especially recognises the talents of scripwriter Mariko and the assistant producer Mitsui. On the other hand, back in Kamakura, Wahei is bearing the brunt of the failure in getting Kamakura to be officially recognised as a World Heritage site. He is also being marked by the new mayor, Isayama Yoko, and is told to not cause any more trouble to the City Hall management.Shinpei has converted the ground floor of their home into a small cafe, and his relationship with Tomomi is going smoothly. While Wahei's other sister, Noriko, is suspecting her husband of having an affair, and she seeks advice from both Wahei and Chiaki. Wahei's daughter, Erina is now dating a man one year older than her, Harada Souta. Erina introduces Souta and his mother, Harada Kaoruko to Wahei.One day, Wahei is told to go to France with the city mayor, due to some news from Kamakura's sister city there. Coincidentally, Chiaki also has to go to Paris, as they are facing a problem with an ongoing drama, and she needs to clarify some details with the original writer who is living there.

Amano Aki goes with her mother Haruko to her hometown in Kitasanriku during a summer vacation. There, she meets her maternal grandmother, Natsu, for the first time. Natsu is a woman diver aka "ama", and Aki thinks that is just so cool. Aki is a second-year high-school student, and she struggles to keep up with the fast-paced life in Tokyo. Having been confined indoors most of the time, everything she sees in the rural town is exciting to her. But most of all, seeing her grandmother diving under the fierce surf along the coastline, leaves a huge impact on her. "I think I would like to be a diver too..."

Set in Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture. The romance of Chiaki Yoshino and Wahei Nagakura continues.

Koizumi’s last lead role in a drama series was in 2001 in TBS’s “Koi wo Nannen Yasundemasu ka.” This time, she will play a 45-year-old single woman who works as a TV drama producer. Starting to feel anxious about her health and her future, she visits an old house in Kamakura where she intends to live with her friend when they reach old age.

Nakai plays a 50-year-old government worker at Kamakura’s city hall whose wife has passed away. With both of them at a crossroads in their lives, their fateful encounter leads to romance.

The murder of Emili, a young girl, leaves the inhabitants of a small Japanese village in shock. The raped body of Emily is found by the four classmates with whom she was playing. The murder is never solved. Emili's mother Asako is torn by grief and puts a curse on the four girls when they claim that they don't remember the killer's face. Each of the girls, in their own way, will do their penance for their silence. Deeply struck by the words of Asako and burdened with her curse, the four girls are forced into adulthood which eventually triggers a tragic chain of events.

Next door to Chuo TV's offices is "Manhattan," a coffee shop for aficionados. The owner's (Masahiro Matsuoka) passion for coffee is almost a sickness and all he wants is for his customers to enjoy their coffee. He is a man of few words. If he has to say something, he gets his waiter Shinobu Gamo (Takashi Tsukamoto) to speak on his behalf. Owner's real name is unknown. He would prefer to be addressed as the shops' "Master" rather than its owner - not that anyone is aware of this. He gives his all to coffee. Despite his wishes, his regular customers don't really come to taste the coffee. They are there because of love. They use his shop as a place for dates, marriage proposals and break-ups. He doesn't show it, but it saddens him that his customers are so preoccupied with affairs of the heart and not the coffee.

One day, Nobuko Akabane (Kyoko Koizumi) visits his shop. Nobuko, who got caught up in a messy extra-marital affair which resulted in her having to leave her job at a top company, now drives a taxi. She looks anxious, as if she is waiting for someone and leaves the shop without touching her coffee. This happens again the next day. Nobuko had a customer - dance instructor Hideki Bessho (Mitsuhiro Oikawa) - who left his mobile phone in the taxi. Nobuko has made two appointments to meet with Bessho to return the phone, but on both occasions Bessho has failed to show up. One day, she appeared at the coffee shop all dressed up and tipped a cup of coffee over Bessho's head. The master watches developments in Nobuko's love life with great interest. He wants her to enjoy good coffee so decides to help her with her love life. But no sooner has he decided to do this that other love-related troubles begin to emerge. Be it screenwriter Maki Chikura (Aiko Morishita), voice actor Satoshi Doigaki (Suzuki Mastuo), new announcer Shiori Emoto (Wakana Sakai), actor Eiichiro Funakoshi (played by himself) or the waiter Gamo. And even the Master finds himself embroiled in affairs of the heart.

It is based on a manga by Taiyo Matsumoto. It tells the story of seven students in an underperforming high school, as they complete their education and decide on the options available to them afterwards. The Japanese title can be translated as "blue spring", or as "inexperienced years", i.e., teenage

Koizumi Kyoko stars as Asako, a 32 year old woman working for a Beer Company. She gets set up with an affable 38 year old man named Koichi (Yanagiba Toshiro) who tries to win her love against competition like a younger co-worker and off-putting best friends!

Takemura begins the film as an 8th-year college student who has somehow managed to accumulate ¥840,000 in debt. Abandoned by his parents in childhood, he has no one to turn to for the cash. One night a stranger with a grubby trench coat and grizzly beard, Fukuhara, bursts into his apartment, puts him in a chokehold and demands the dough, or else. Then, the day before the debt comes due, Fukuhara comes to Takemura with an unusual offer: walk with him from Kichijoji to Kasumigaseki, for ¥1 million, paid on successful completion. Takemura has no choice but to go along
