During the summer in the present day, Jeon Youn Ha runs a vacation cottage located deep in the woods. His peaceful life is shaken by the sudden appearance of a mysterious woman named Yoo Sung A.

In the early 2000's, Koo Sang Joon ran the same vocation cottage as Jeon Young Ha did years later. Koo Sang Joon and his family also lived there, but, during the summer, something happened at his vacation cottage and Koo Sang Joon lost everything because of that. At that time, Yoon Bo Min worked as a police officer at the nearest police substation from the vacation cottage. 20 years later, Yoon Bo Min is transferred to the same police substation where she worked before and she begins to work there as the chief. She enjoys solving things and begins to observe Jeon Young Ha closely.

On the Chinese side of the China-Russia-North Korea border, in the Yanbian, Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Ku Nam toils his days away as a taxi driver. When he's not working he's often found in the gambling halls. Ku Nam is now in serious debt. His wife left to work in South Korea and promised to send money back. He has yet to hear from her and he is tormented by nightmares of her having an extra-marital affair. Making matters worse, Ku Nam is fired from his job and debt-collectors take most of his severance pay. Dog seller and underworld crime boss Myung Ga offers him a deal. If Ku Nam goes to South Korea and successfully carries out a hit he will get paid $10,000 USD. Ku Nam accepts the deal and leaves for Korea on a rickety fishing boat with $500 dollars for his expenses. When Ku Nam arrives in South Korea he carefully scopes out his target for days, while also searching for his wife. When the time arrives for Ku Nam to take out his target, a string of unexpected events occurs leaving Ku Nam desperately looking for a way out. Meanwhile, the cops, Korean mafia, and the Chinese mafia all frantically search for Ku Nam.

"Escape from Mogadishu" deals with a real-life defection incident between the two Korean embassies in Somalia back in the nineties that purports to explore the relevant motives behind the event.

Joo Ri and Yoon Ah are both second-year high school students. One day, they meet on the rooftop of their school. Joo Ri and Yoon Ah recently found out that Joo Ri’s father, Dae Won, and Yoon Ah’s mother, Mi Hee, were having an affair. Park Ji Sang is a doctor specializing in hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery in the best cancer research hospital in the country. He is also a vampire. Despite seeming cold and unfeeling, Ji Sang masks his soft heart and inner pain and yearns for closeness with people. In 1987, university student & pro-democracy movement member Park Jong-chul is captured by the police. He is then tortured to death. The police and government try to cover up the case of Park Jong-Chul, but the media and university students try to reveal the truth.

During the Qing Invasion of Korea, the king and the court take refuge in a mountain fortress, where they find themselves stranded in the cold and surrounded by the enemy. The king’s dilemma deepens as his people in the fortress start dying from cold and hunger. In 1636, Qing China invades Korea with 150,000 troops. The Korean court flees the capital to take shelter in the Namhan Fortress, located in treacherous mountains outside the city. The Qing army, led by General Yong Gol Dae, quickly surrounds the fortress, leaving the king and the court stranded in a prolonged standoff. For a truce, the Qing general makes a humiliating proposal of sending the Crown Prince out as hostage. Unable to move forward or fight the outnumbering enemy, the people of the fortress start dying from cold and hunger. Between the interior minister, who emphasizes the king’s duty to protect the lives of his subjects regardless of humiliation, and the minister of rites, who maintains that they must fight to death for the greater cause, the king must make a grave choice.

A young girl who belongs to Father Kim’s parish becomes comatose after a hit-and-run accident. Father Kim and a rebellious young seminarian named Choi believe that she is possessed by an evil spirit. When they try to free her from the demon’s powerful hold, they realize that this nameless evil is far more dangerous than they ever thought.

In 1978, Eun-Joo, a child from a wealthy family, is kidnapped. Her kidnapper though doesn't make contact with the parents. Eun-Joo's mother and aunt then seek out various fortunetellers for help. The only fortuneteller to tell them that Eun-Joo is still alive is Kim Joong-San (Yu Hae-Jin). Kim Joong-San also recommends to the women that they get in touch with Detective Kong Gil-Yong (Kim Yun-Seok) for his help. Detective Kong Gil-Yong doesn't want to become involved the case, but he agrees to do so. He advises Eun-Joo's parents to keep the investigation private. Publicity could place Eun-Joo in more danger. Detective Kong Gil-Yong doesn't trust the fortuneteller, but he predicts things that come out to be true, including that the kidnapper will get in touch with the parents on the 15th day after her disappearance. With a picture that the kidnapper sends on the 15th day, Detective Kong Gil-Yong and Kim Joong-San are certain Eun-Joo is still alive.

In 1998, the fishing vessel Jeonjiho goes out to sea to catch fish. The ships fails to catch fish as they hoped. The ship's owner then informs Captain Kang that he is going to sell the ship. Captain Kang can't let that happen and decides to buy the boat himself, but he is unable to get financing anywhere. Captain Kang then agrees to transport Chinese-Korean stowaways from the sea back to the port. The other crew members including Dong Shik and Chang Wook are freaked out about the captain's plan, but they agree to go along with it.

During a stormy night, the fishing vessel Jeonjiho stops in the middle of ocean and allows another boat to transfer its stowaways onto their ship. A young woman, Hong Mae, falls into the ocean, but Dong Shik jumps into the water to save her. Their nightmare journey begins.

Detective Baek Hong Suk (Son Hyun Joo) lost his 15-year-old daughter in a car accident and his wife died from shock shortly afterwards. Celebrity dads are left to care for their kids alone for 48 hours without the help of anyone, while their wives leave the home to enjoy some relaxing time off. The wives are shown leaving the home before the 48 hours begins and coming back to greet their family once the 48 hours have ended. During the 48 hours, the dads and children are either doing a task the wives have written out for the dads to complete or the dads exploring new activities with their kids. Occasionally celebrity friends of the dads will stop by to interact with the kids.

In order to let things cool down from their latest heist, Popeye and his group of thieves go to Macau on a job. But the mastermind behind this job is none other than Popeye's old partner Macau Park, who escaped with 68kg of gold several years ago on their last job together. Macau Park brought Chinese thieves as well but little did they know what Macau Park planned for each one of them. Ex-detective pimp Jeong Ho is angry because his girls keep disappearing without clearing their debts. One night, he gets a call from a customer and sends Mi Jin. But when Mi Jin meets the customer, Jeong Ho realizes the phone number of the customer matches that of the calls the missing girls got last. As something smells fishy, he searches for her. During his search, Jeong Ho dents a car in the alley. When Jeong Ho spots blood splattered on the driver’s shirt, he senses the man, Young Min, is the suspect. After an intense chase, Jeong Ho finally catches Young Min. But because of Jeong Ho’s pretense as a cop, they are both taken to the police station. At the station, he bluntly tells the policemen that he has killed the missing women, and the last girl, Mi Jin, may still be alive. As the police force is obsessed with a random search for corpses, Jeong Ho is the only one who believes Mi Jin is still alive. With only 12 hours left to detain the serial killer without a warrant, Jeong Ho’s hunt begins.

Dong Gu is not your average Madonna fan. Listening to the Material Girl's second album (and applying a little lipstick) allows the young teenage boy to escape into his imagination, away from his dysfunctional family - his pathetic alcoholic father, a former boxer, is prone to violence, his older brother is beginning to resemble the old man, and his mother has fled family life to work at a Disney-esque amusement park. Things aren't much better at school, where he's bullied for his effeminate tendencies. But once again, fantasy comes to the rescue in the form of a young male teacher who, Dong Gu imagines, beckons to him during class. But when a wrestling coach discovers the boy's natural talent, and a potential goldmine in those stocky thighs, Dong Gu starts training, striving to win a competition for the cash prize that will allow him to realize his ultimate fantasy: becoming a woman.

"My Girl and I" features the well-known plot of an ill-fated couple. Su-ho (Cha Tae-hyeon) is a plain high school boy, and Su-eun (Song Hye-kyo) is a bright and beautiful girl in the same school. For some unknown reason, Su-eun has a crush on the boy, and for equally mysterious reasons she rescues Su-ho in the sea (though he doesn't know who actually saved him). In the process, Su-eun loses her pager. When she discloses the relationship with Su-ho at school, despite envy and disbelief from other classmates, she asks Su-ho to buy her a pager so that they can communicate with each other through voice messages - a secret communication channel since So-eun's parents are quite strict. The way the couple develops affection is bearable, helped by images of a beautiful seaside village and equally enchanting coastlines. Supporting characters like Su-ho's grandfather (Lee Soon-jae) jazz up the otherwise too simplified storyline.
