The story revolves around the Tachibana family, who live in a 2.5 generation household. In this type of household, the parents and their children live together in a two-generation home, with the addition of a single sibling from the younger generation. The Tachibana family decides to rebuild their old home into a 2.5 generation household, and the 40-year-old unemployed and reclusive protagonist, Masaharu Tachibana, ends up living with his sister and her family. Although Masaharu is revered as a gaming expert in the virtual world, he faces challenges in his new living situation as his sister asks him to help with household chores and his teenage niece rejects him as "weird." Having lived life at his own pace until now, Masaharu gradually learns to interact with people and regain a more social lifestyle amidst the changing environment.

Kayashima Naoya, a charismatic hairdresser who finds himself struggling to survive in extreme conditions when the train he is on winds up in a devastated future world where there is no food, water or communication.

Arisu Ryohei and Usagi Yuzuha have been pursuing the mystery of “borderland”, risking their lives in games in order to survive and return to their world. They have collected the numbered cards each time they won a game. All that remains are the jack, queen and king cards. The games they face this round will be of greater difficulty than the ones that came before.

Tsuda Umeko was born in December 31, 1864 and became a pioneer in women's eductation.

In 1871, Tsuda Umeko, with her father's recommendation, went to the United States to study at the age of 6. She was the youngest of the group of females to travel there. They were the first Japanese female students to study overseas at their government's expense.

11 years after studying in the United States, Tsuda Umeko returns to Japan. She wants to become a woman who is helpful to her culture, but she is shocked by the low status of women in Japan.

9 years after the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami, two murder cases take place in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture. The two victims are assumed to have been murdered by the same person. Both of the victims were tied all over their body and starved to death. Yasuhisa Tone emerges as a suspect in the murders. Yasuhisa Tone was just recently released from prison. In his past, he committed arson and injured someone to protect his acquaintance. Detective Seiichiro Tomashino discovers a common link between the two victims and chases after Yasuhisa Tone.

A high school with poor academic performance has various problematic students who cannot receive proper education due to abuse or poverty. The hot-blooded teachers here take the role of gathering these students and help them to get back on their feet.

Tightly clutching his Gibson guitar, Mafuyu Satou steps out of his dark apartment to begin another day of his high school life. While taking a nap in a quiet spot on the gymnasium staircase, he has a chance encounter with fellow student Ritsuka Uenoyama, who berates him for letting his guitar's strings rust and break. Noticing Uenoyama's knowledge of the instrument, Satou pleads for him to fix it and to teach him how to play. Uenoyama eventually agrees and invites him to sit in on a jam session with his two band mates: bassist Haruki Nakayama and drummer Akihiko Kaji.

Satou's voice is strikingly beautiful, filling Uenoyama with the determination to make Satou the lead singer of the band. Though reticent at first, Satou takes the offer after an emotional meeting with an old friend. With the support of his new friends, Satou must not only learn how to play guitar, but also come to terms with the mysterious circumstances that led him to be its owner.

Meanwhile, Utsubo is a representative for an NPO. But, Utsubo works with contract killer Suzuki to set people up for extortion purposes. They target someone at design company Octopus.

Kiyozumi Hamada is a 3rd grader in high school. He possesses a strong sense of justice. One day, he sees first grade student Hari Kuramoto being bullied. He helps her. Since that time, Kiyozumi Hamada tries to save Hari Kuramoto from bullies. While doing that, they grow closer.

During this chaotic situation, a mysterious man silently watches as everything unfolds. A video clip is then uploaded to an online video website. The video contains a demand to talk with the Prime Minister during a live broadcast or a bomb will be detonated at 6 pm in Shibuya, Tokyo. Who is behind the bombings and who will stop them?

Haru works at a university’s library. She is not particular about her meals and is more interested in keeping up with information on her favourite manga through her smartphone. One random day, Haru becomes depressed by the words of pity she hears about herself every day. That night, she heads to her regular drinking spot to soothe her hurt. It is the autumn of 2019, one year since Miyamoto Akiko (Ayase Haruka) re-entered the workforce. She visits Miyuki’s apartment only to see Mugita Akira (Sato Takeru), the owner of Bakery Mugita where Miyuki works part-time, come out topless from the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist. To make matters worse, a baby boy is clutched in his arms. Then Miyuki returns home. Akiko jumps to the conclusion that this baby is their child. Miyuki and Mugita deny it, leaving Akiko confused by this perplexing situation.

After the branch's shutdown, he will work again at the bank's headquarters. Hiroshi Kataoka is embarrassed by the situation. He sees the branch employees work hard and they do not know the branch will close. Hiroshi Kataoka is conflicted between his job and his employees.

There are three friends who have been together since high school, but in 2013, one of them died. The two people who are still alive are slowly trying to forget the death of his best friend and live their lives smoothly. However, in 2018 One of the friends receives an email from his best friend who died five years ago and accuses him of having forgotten it. From there, strange events take place in his entourage and to try to end it, he will seek to discover the truth behind the death of his friend with the help of Shiori who was with them in class in high school.

Mineko overcomes challenges and starts to lay down roots in Tokyo as she experiences many meetings and farewells amid the laughter and tears with regulars, people of the shopping street, friends, and colleagues. But will she be able to find her father?

The murder of Emili, a young girl, leaves the inhabitants of a small Japanese village in shock. The raped body of Emily is found by the four classmates with whom she was playing. The murder is never solved. Emili's mother Asako is torn by grief and puts a curse on the four girls when they claim that they don't remember the killer's face. Each of the girls, in their own way, will do their penance for their silence. Deeply struck by the words of Asako and burdened with her curse, the four girls are forced into adulthood which eventually triggers a tragic chain of events.

The other called "Otowa YonKo" - our protagonist - is a con artist whose cheats money from criminals or terrorists.
