Sin (Jang Dong Gun, who also played the lead role in “Friend”), a North Korean who as a child attempted to defect to the South with his family but was betrayed, resulting in the deaths of his parents. Plotting genocidal revenge, Sin takes up with a group of Thai pirates, and steals a U.S. ship carrying nuclear devices which have been secretly manufactured in Taiwan . He is pursued by Kang Se Jong (Lee Jeong Jae, also in the 2000 romantic hit “Il Mare”), a naval officer who attempts to bring Sin to justice, though who gradually comes to understand, and even sympathise with his foe.

An army major goes undercover as a college student. His mission is both professional and personal: to protect his general's daughter from a radical militant, and to find his estranged half-brother.

The drift team that is on the verge of breaking up scouts Koichi Oba who is not good at socializing due to his introverted personality but has an amazing talent for games.

Koichi is able to demonstrate his talent even in a real car, but those who appear in front him are people who bet their lives on the race.

This modern adaptation of a classic horror tale revolves around two people whose loved ones die after they get a wax figure shaped like themselves. An investigation into the deaths brings the two together as they seek the truth behind the mystery.

Tham searches for his brother Thi in order to deliver the news of their parents' passing. Thi is ordained as a monk at a temple on Don Sing Tham Island. On arrival, Tham meets Jes, the grandson of the former abbot. Jes makes hoon payon, enchanted effigies of the dead. Tham learns of a rumour that Thi vanished after murdering the abbot.

Tham doesn't buy the story nor does he respect the villagers' strange reverence for the sculpture of Pho Pu Sing Tham. Though his appearance is unsettling to Tham, Pho Pu Sing Tham is said to protect them. Soon, a girl goes missing, a wild predator roams the island, a vengeful ghost is rampant and worse yet, the figure of Pho Pu Sing Tham is destroyed. The enraged villagers prepare to curse and hunt down the unknown culprit.

Zeeshan feels indebted to his ex-wife, Emaan, for having looked after his family and household expenses at a time when they had cut ties with him for marrying someone else abroad. Main Abdul Qadir Hoon is a unique story of a boy named Abdul Qadir (Fahad Mustafa). He has a heart of gold whose life goes through many twists and turns because of people around him trying to influence him. He is an obedient son but his parents are too busy with their own lives. He befriends a girl in his neighborhood by the name of Zareen (Alishba Yousuf) who is a spoilt and fast girl. She gradually influences him towards drinking alcohol and smoking. When he proposes to her she rejects him and a heart-broken Abdul Qadir is sent to England by his mother Meera (Saba Hameed). In England (those episodes were actually shot in Turkey), Abdul Qadir totally immerses himself in the local culture and befriends Faiz (Faisal Qureshi), Shah Mir and Sarmad. Here accidentally he meets Nell (Aamina Sheikh) and employs her as his housekeeper. One day he attempts to be a bit too forthcoming and sociable with her, in response to this she pleads to him in the name of God and this hits him deeply. Nell gradually brings him back to religion. Abdul Qadir is so influenced with Nell that the two get married but Nell dies as she is suffering from Aids. After living for nine months abroad, Abdul Qadir surprises his mother on his return by sporting a beard and wearing a cap. On her inquiring, he tells her that he wants to be a religious scholar. Now Meera wants to change her son and for this asks for Zareen’s help. Zareen is now divorced twice and lives in poverty. Zareen initially refused the offer from Meera, but afterwards, poverty gets the better of Zareen, and for the sake of money she takes her offer. Zareen runs into Abdul Qadir while jogging one day, both meeting each other. They go out a few times. Meanwhile, Pasha, Zareen's ex-husband, finds out about the plot and blackmail's Zareen into giving him money to stop him from telling Abdul Qadir. On Zareen's birthday, Abdul Qadir goes to Zareen's house, where Pasha is already there, the door stays open, as Abdul Qadir overhears the plan his mother has laid out. Pasha, at this time tries to rape Zareen, but Abdul Qadir steps in and protects Zareen. Abdul Qadir soon leaves the house. His mother now wants him to marry her best friends' daughter, who initially was going to marry Jawad, an old friend of Abdul Qadir, who had extremely ill mannered habits. Abdul Qadir notifies Meera's best friend about Jawad, and her daughter also catches Jawad in the presence of other girls. Then Meera's best friends daughter now wants to marry Abdul Qadir, but while all this is happening, Faiz, his friend abroad is sick, and his father wants Abdul Qadir to bring him back. Abdul Qadir leaves the house without greeting his mother, she thinks that he left because of her, and that he will never come back. Meera becomes sick and is hospitalised. When she returns from the hospital, the absence of Abdul Qadir dawns upon her. She slowly comes to love everything Abdul Qadir loved. She accepts the gardeners sons gift of sweets, which he wanted to give to Abdul Qadir because the gardeners son came first in his class. The son also wants to become a Muslim, after looking up to Abdul Qadir. Soon Zareen returns to her father, and finds out Meera is sick. She visits Meera's house, where they have an emotional moment and they hug each other. Meera slowly comes to realize the similarities between Zareen and Abdul Qadir. She soon develops a liking for her. Abdul Qadir returns to Pakistan after Faiz's death and finds out that Zareen is about to get married, he sadly agrees to go for the ceremony where it is revealed that the wedding is for Zareen and himself. After the wedding Abdul Qadir gives Zareen the ring in which he wanted to propose her years ago and then he tells her to call him Abdul Qadir instead of A.Q.

Sanjana (Kareena Kapoor) is a young woman, full of life. She has just graduated from college and is not happy about the concept of arranged marriage, much to the dismay of her mother Susheela (Himani Shivpuri). Roopa – Sanjana's older sister who has settled in the U.S., phones her parents and informs them that her friend Prem has seen Sanjana's picture and is interested in getting to know her. Prem is a wealthy businessman who has also settled in the U.S. with his parents. Sanjana is not pleased with this development, and she eventually meets Prem Kishen (Hrithik Roshan). At first, Sanjana cannot stand the enthusiastic and outgoing Prem, and she plays a series of pranks on him, together with her friends. As they begin to spend more time together, they put their differences aside and eventually fall in love, much to the delight of her parents – who also love Prem. Prem returns to the U.S. for work and promises Sanjana that he will be back soon. Suddenly, however, Roopa informs the family that her friend Prem could not make it so someone else was sent in his place. Sanjana's confused parents find out that the man who is here is not actually the wealthy N.R.I. Prem Kumar, whom Sanjana was meant to meet. Rather, he is Prem Kishen, an employee in Prem Kumar's company. Prem Kumar (Abhishek Bachchan) arrives soon afterward to meet Sanjana and begins to have feelings for her. Sanjana's mother slowly tries to push her towards Prem Kumar, though her father (Pankaj Kapur) has reservations because he knows how much Sanjana and Prem Kishan are in love. Prem Kumar and Sanjana begin spending time together and become friends due to their common interests, but Sanjana is committed to Prem Kishen. Prem Kishan returns to Sanjana's house, where he is treated coldly by her mother and witnesses Prem Kumar's feelings for Sanjana. He emotionally reveals the truth to her – that his boss was supposed to marry her and not him. Sanjana is devastated. A marriage is decided for Sanjana and Prem Kumar by their respective mothers. Prem Kishen's loyalty to his boss and his boss' happiness forces him to leave and let the marriage go on, while a heartbroken Sanjana agrees only for the sake of her parents. Ultimately, Prem Kumar learns the truth and unites Sanjana with Prem Kishen.

"Sassy Girl, Choon-hyang" is the 2005 interpretation of the "Legend of Choon-hyang". The story begins when Lee Mong-ryong is transferred from Seoul to a high school in Namwon, North Jeolla Province. Chun-hyang does her best to help Mong-ryong, her first love and the son of the Namwon Police Station chief, to enter a prestigious university.
